Felt the room was a little cramped especially around the bed with tiny bedside tables and a little over priced for the room size, but the bathroom was excellent.

Staff and facilities were excellent, really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.

A slight issue, we couldn't open the curtains in our room first thing as people walking by could see in so we had to remain in the dark with the lights on until we were showered and dressed sufficiently.

The food was outstanding. Breakfast was served to you, no buffet situation and we also had real tea in teapots delivered to the table, proper service! Our room was spectacular, a really nice conversion of the garages. The bathroom was amazing, so big, and the main room was lovely too, with a wonderful comfy bed. Situated in a lovely position, really close to the house, we loved the walk in for breakfast. I was also treated really wonderfully on my birthday, with a glass of bubbly and attentive service for dinner, made it really special for me.

Having booked for six nights we were disappointed to find that only one change was made to the Terrace Restaurant Menu during our stay. Thus limiting our choice of meal.

Continental Breakfast was as expected. Room was as expected . Staff couldn't have been better.

We could have been offered a morning paper but not a huge loss.

Very warm welcome on arrival and an excellent room. We ate at Monty’s which was great value and excellent quality. The evening receptionist suggested we could have morning tea delivered, which we did and it was on time too. We needed a postage stamp to post a card to our grandson and the lovely morning receptionist gave us one out of her own purse. She refused our offer of payment, how generous of her. Location is excellent for Beaulieu and the hotel has a large, secure car park and lovely grounds.

A bit unclear the breakfast organisation. I had the impression it was all free, but it wasn't. Breakfast was advertised as fantastic and free, but the free options were not that fantastic.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of the New Forest and perfect for exploring. All of the staff, without exception, were very friendly and welcoming. This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in and very much hope to return again.

Constant loud noise of footsteps over some steps right outside our room. I advised the receptionist when checking out, so hopefully this can be remedied for future customers.

The staff were delightful and helpful. Location was perfect as a base to get around. The room and bathroom were spotless. Loved the gesture of giving a little bag of goodies when checking out.

The Monty's restaurant/pub is not up to the standard of the hotel. It is really the negative of our stay. Everything else is so perfect. The hotel deserves a cozy restaurant with good food and nice pub. I know there is the Terrace restaurant. But the Monty's is cold, there is a strong smell (from a candle or interior perfume) which is not enjoyable, and unfortunately the food is not very good. With simple but good food, and a cozy interior at Monty's, this would have been the absolute perfect stay.

The garden is amazing, the new garden rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff is lovely.

Pricey. The get what you pay for mantra has put pressure on everyone. I don’t think this establishment is any worse than others. Make sure you don’t go if a wedding is on.

We love the staff. The location to enjoy the New Forest is excellent. We have visited many times over the last 15 years and will always come back.

The staff were exceptional, all of them. The location was great, walked to Bucklers hard from hotel. Grounds were so well kept and a lovely area to sit out. The room was warm and bed was comfy. It had a lovely ambience about the whole place.

The menu options at the Terrace were perhaps 1-2 dishes to limited (could have done with a more basic meat / steak option), however this is being picky.

The service was excellent. Initially the room we were given was sub standard, however it was changed without question and the replacements were very very good. Having recognised the mistake, to a person, every staff member treated us amazingly well. The Courtyard Retreat we had on the second night was excellent and a reason to go back in itself. The Terrace restaurant was really good and breakfasts top quality with excellent local produce

Beautiful setting in the New forest with lots of lovely scenery and wildlife to enjoy. We visited the Coast and thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would love to stay again.
