The Montfort Cottage Guesthouse was lovely. Spotlessly clean, lovely room, great location and Jane and Paul were lovely. Breakfast was A1 and we would definitely stay again 😊😊

Everything we could want for a weekend getaway. We stayed for 2 nights and we loved it. The room was cosy, clean and had everything you would want/need. Jane & Paul were super friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing, Paul even remembered what we’re having for drinks and what colour toast we both wanted. It’s the little things that make it standout. We would recommend Montfort Cottage to anyone!

We had a lovely stay at Montfort Cottage. We received a warm welcome from the hosts who also gave us good tips on what to in Windermere. The breakfasts were delicious and the bed was extremely comfortable- would definitely recommend!

Although the room was really comfortable just a bit of caution. Ours was under the roof and we had to take great care not to bang our heads when walking around the room.

Quiet location but within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Comfortable and warm room. Some nice little touches in the room. Very nice breakfast. The owners are very friendly.

Absolutely lovely couple. The cottage was immaculately clean. The room was beautiful and the bed was huge and very comfy. Breakfast was served hot and fresh and an excellent choice of main breakfast dishes. They even went the extra mile after finding out it was my birthday they left a bottle of cava and a card outside our room, very thoughtful.

Jane and Paul were the perfect hosts. The breakfast was very good and Jane and Paul were always available to answer questions and/or give advice and directions.

Great location only a 10 minuet walk each way so an ideal location!! Breakfast was amazing really liked there was alternative options to a full English as well like waffles etc.. lovely clean well decorated room. Hosts very friendly :)
