Louise made us feel so welcome from the moment she greeted us at the door. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was made with good quality ingredients. We would definitely recommend.

Great location! Louise was so friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. Great view from our bedroom. Louise accommodated for a gluten free breakfast and it was perfect! Room was super cosy and comfy with an en-suite and little added extras of biscuits, tea fresh milk and fresh water! Would definitely want to come back again if we were in the area.

Really really clean and cosy, lovely quiet location host was very accommodating, allowed us to check in early as we were off to a wedding which was much appreciated.

The place is in a perfect scenic location and very easy to get to. Louise was an amazing host and so accommodating, we will definitely be staying here again when we next visit.

Overall room was very comfortable. The tap for top shower was difficult to turn - however, the owner, Louise did explain this to us before using the room. Would be good if use of top shower could be eased.

Louise was really lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Rooms were cosy and very comfortable. Location was beautiful. Great to have an en suite bathroom and the room was perfectly prepared with all the little finishing touches thought about.

Great location, spacious but cozy rooms and a lovely breakfast. Louise is a great host who was super friendly, attentive and helpful with local recommendations. We were recommending it to friends and family while we were still there. Can't wait to stay again!

Louise was a lovely host, nice welcome when arriving, and shown my room which was very well presented. A lovely view across the valley and very quiet and peaceful. A nice area not to far from the main routes including Alton Towers and JCB Factory. Breakfast is served downstairs with a selection of cereals/fruit toast etc and then a lovely cooked breakfast made to order which was very enjoyable. A lovely little place will stay again next time I am in the area.

Louise was a very friendly and accommodating host. The room was extremely comfortable with excellent facilities - coffee machine, superb shower, lots of warm blankets. Banging full English breakfast.

We had an amazing time at this bed and breakfast. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for our night between 2 days at Alton towers. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The bed was super comfortable, breakfast was delicious and Louise was welcoming and friendly. Lots of nice little touches too. Would highly recommend!!

The host was lovely, she did not mind that we showed up a bit messy from our walk. The room we were in was very clean and came with a bathroom. The room also came with a lot of information about the area, which was incredibly helpful. The breakfast in the morning was great we could customise our English breakfast to be exactly what we wanted. Everything was cooked perfectly. The location was beautiful even in the heaving rain.

Lovely cosy room 10 minute drive away from Alton Towers. Delicious breakfast and Louise was just lovely. Would definitely recommend. We had an evening meal at The Star and it was one of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time.
