The host Stephen made us feel very welcome. We stayed in room 3 with a huge bed that was very comfortable, bathroom was lovely and kitchenette area functional. Nice gardens to relax in too. Breakfast was wonderful served in a hamper. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. Location is great, feels as if you’re deep in the country but only minutes drive from seaside. Highly recommended.

Pleased with everything

Location perfect for North Devon and Cornwall, with easy access to coast and beaches and interesting places to visit like Bude, Padstow, Clovelly etc. Attention to detail from the host made the stay really comfortable, breakfast a treat and daily surprise, great selection of different continental breakfast every day. Breakfast was part of the fun and delivered to your door.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like. Loved it!

Moorview House was everything we hoped it would be. Really well located in relation to beaches and all the other surrounding areas. We bought our dog with us and was perfect. Little private garden for room no.3 which we requested and was ideal. Gorgeous surroundings. Lovely little breakfast hamper delivered 8.30am each morning. Well equipped room, clean, friendly, cosy and warm. (we visited in winter). Just gorgeous! Friendly people, couldn’t do enough for you! Highly recommend!

It was a nice breakfast served in a hamper. It suited my tastes but may not suit everyone. There isn't a breakfast room as such.

Location is a little secluded, so do be prepared. I visited in Winter, whereas I am sure during the Spring and Summer it would be better to take in the surrounding area and scenery. Do be mindful to follow the instructions provided when driving to the location, I made the mistake of following my satnav which took my down some small country lanes.

Enjoyed a very comfortable and pleasant two night stay at Moorview House. Great communication with Stephen prior to my arrival. Was greeted on arrival and shown around the room and location. The proprerty was extremely pleasant, the room spacious, with all expected amenities plus some. The breakfasts were a very nice touch and much appreciated. Very close to the town centre, 10 - 15 minutes drive. Quiet location.

Lovely place to stay, everything was lovely. It had a very useful kitchenette, fantastic bathroom, lovely bedroom with very large comfortable bed. Breakfast hamper was great, different every day with yummy pastries, jam, milk, yogurt, etc. outside area was very nice too but unfortunately we did not have the weather to sit out. Cannot fault the place and host, Steven, was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Everything was perfect from the time we arrived to when we left! Stephen greeted us with a full run down of facilities etc we stayed in room one which is big enough for a short or longer stay. The room was decorated to a high spec. Everything you needed for a lovely stay. Tea, coffee hot chocolate and biscuits were replenished throughout our stay. Hairdryer, soft towels, shampoo, shower gel, bathrobes and a lovely bath and shower. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. A fan if you needed it and a torch too! The grounds are well maintained with lots of seating and such a peaceful quiet location. The best thing was breakfast. Delivered at 8.30am but earlier on request! From granola or muesli Yoghurt hot croissants and pastries. Slight change on different days with ham and cheese or muffins. Cafetiere coffee too. Fridge also available . We had the best time and loved having our chats with Stephen putting the world to rights. Thank you for all your hospitality We will return x

Nothing it was simply faultless.

Location was spot on for a quiet holiday and just a short drive from the beautiful coastline. Breakfast was delivered in a basket each morning which we ate outside in the sunshine listening to the birds. It included different things each day and was all delicious and plentiful. It was incredibly peaceful, no street lights, no pavements, no busy traffic which is just what we were looking for. The whole place was spotless and the room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Stephen was a great host. Thankyou for a lovely break.
