Didn't appreciate the receptionist insinuating I'm an illegal because of a lack of ID then saying my partner's ID might need to be changed because it doesn't match her (it did, it was 2 years old).

Mattresses maybe need changing as quite saggy now. Place is a little shabby and could do with painting in many places.

Location is ideal for Morpeth. Safe parking. Good security. It has all you'd expect at this price and was clean. Staff efficient and friendly.

Very tatty, holes in carpet bedroom looking jaded. Seemed to have a lot of foreign national young men staying. Stank of cigarette smoke.

There are no frills but for the price we wouldn't expect any. Two minor issues we experienced were around temperature. On our first night the building, including our room, felt uncomfortably hot but we'd arrived very late so just made do; in the morning we raised it with the staff as we went out for breakfast and by the time we got back it was all sorted, so the temperature was perfect the second night. And when the heating was on, the hot water got very hot, so it might be good to put a warning sign up. An enhancement that would be great, if the budget allowed, would be to add a shower over the bath. We've stayed here before and would again.

Excellent really central location and great to have parking available on-site. Very helpful staff. Great range of tourist information at reception. Clean. I also like the option to have a room with a bath. And Morpeth itself is a lovely place to visit - feels like a thriving market town with an excellent range of shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, lots of historic interest, parks, etc.

A few more coat hangers to hang up clothes

Quick check in, room was comfortable and no outside noise form passing traffic. Walls are a bit thin but had already read previous reviews, not too much noise. Very good location close to shops, bars and restaurants

It's very basic accommodation and for the price is is well worth it - don't expect super quality at this price, but it is clean, comfortable and everything works. Ideally located in walking distance to the town centre.

No coffee sachets, light over bathroom mirror needed to be brighter, under washbasin grubby, hot water was scalding hot, could do with a warning note.

The road was noisy, the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard to sleep on…even the spare ones above the wardrobe were so hard. The room was very small and could do with 2 chairs if they would fit

I have no complaints about the room itself. I could have done without the security light in the carpark shining in my window.The wifi was excellent most of the time but it went off on Saturday evening and the staff didn't take it seriously when I told them. The walls are thin but luckily my neighbours were not too noisy.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very good. There was a table and quite a decent chair. Plenty of drinks supplies. They give out free mints at reception which is a nice touch. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly.

Small room, old furniture, bed against wall so my Husband had to ‘climb out’ to use bathroom. However it was clean. A really lovely gentleman was on hand to answer questions and we were right in the centre of Morpeth.

This I thought was part of the Premier Inn Group, which it is not. I was very disappointed at first. But given the price we didn’t have such a bad nights sleep.

Occupants of neighbouring rooms were noisy but quietened down late in the evening. The room smelt of the spray used to counter stale cigarettes.

For budget break accommodation the room proved good value, centrally located, clean, warm. Staff were pleasant. Under similar circumstances I would stay there again.

issues need to be addressed in my room. Second time I've stayed in this room. Unable to open window due to handle being broken. Radiator not working (although I was given a portable heater to compensate this issue) bathroom shelf broken. Shower shelf unstable, need slip mat in shower for when your getting out. The toilet seat needs replacing. Damp/mould patches on ceiling. They have a breakfast/dining room unused by guests maybe they could use it to eat or heat up a meal in microwave

manager/owner and staff very attentive to your needs. The room was clean and good location no restriction on late entry as you have a fob to let yourself in

The WiFi code did not work as advertised in room. The Radiator did not work until after complained. No bedside reading light Toilet cistern kept running during night

It is a shame breakfast isn't offered, but we were aware of this before we booked. It was clean, but there were some stains on bedding and towels. No pressure in the shower. Would still return as a good price and a great location.

You get what you pay for. We had everything we needed. Spacious rooms. Nice empty car park. Peaceful room. Plenty of storage. Great location for Morpeth Town.

poor thin curtains. think bedroom walls. heard poorly child cough all night.

room was clean beds as i like it. heating was very hot all night so cant moan about that at all ! it is a no frills, basic hotel/motel very ideally located in Morpeth. certainly could do with a refresh lick of paint of course and the bedroom walls are quite thin so you may well hear noises next door. curtains think let light and security carpark light flood in. but would use again for what we needed it for re bnc of rally marshals staying one night.
