The hosts were lovely and had thought of every little detail. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with great views over St Andrews. Breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.

If there was a slight downside it would be the location, it's just a little bit out of town, but that wouldn't stop me booking here again.

Absolutely nothing!

The main thing was that Sam and Mike were so friendly and welcoming and kind and had thought of everything anyone could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The comfort of the bed was outstanding, far better than we've ever experienced! The breakfast was first class and whole place felt very like a lovely home to stay in rather than a business.

Rooms were immaculate and all the little personal touches made it more like a luxury B&B. Breakfast was phenomenal everything was outstanding. Best thing though was how welcoming Mike and Sam are - perfect hosts who really do care about excellent customer service & looking after their guests.

There wasn't anything not to like.

The Shepard's hut is small but perfect with the most beautiful view of sky, wheat fields, ancient St. Andrews towers and the sea from the bed. The sound of the the wind in the trees surrounding it is amazing and the walks into St Andrews are peaceful and stunning. Reminds you it's 'getting there not the destination'! The hut itself has more than you need including snacks / coffee/ fresh juice- even tea cakes and olives. The breakfast rolls were fab as was the huge and fresh fruit salad. The owners are helpful and friendly.

The farm track was a little rough and potholed for last 300 yards but not a big problem

Its close to St Andrews but in a quiet location. The room was so comfortable with a massive super king sized bed.We were made to feel really welcome . Room had nice selection of drinks and treats. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and good size portion of food. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location with stunning view over St. Andrews. The outdoor seating area and wood burner were ideal to enjoy the view whilst the sun set. The interior was well decorated and highly functional. A very peaceful and picturesque place. We had a wonderful time:)

The room was lovely clean fresh. Had everything you would need from toiletries to coffee tea complimentary chocolate water fantastic breakfast. Just a lovely relaxing stay a short 2 minute drive from town centre . Service from owners Sam and Mike exceptional. Even fresh flowers in the room from their lovely cottage garden
