Breakfast was excellent very well presented plenty of choice and given as you much as you liked. Service very good and they are very friendly owners who made us us feel very welcome. They said anything we wanted just ask them and they helped us with knowledge about the area bus and travel routes and best restaurants etc. we liked the lovely view from our breakfast Dining room of the Dartmouth estuary

I can’t think of anything that could be improved.

Everything was excellent. We had an amazing view from our bedroom, a fabulous breakfast and just the right amount of interaction at breakfast. We had a fabulous stay!

nothing was wrong with what Shaun and Rose supplied, all i would say just remember the guest house is high over Dartmouth up a very steep hill, but don't let this put you off, i have walking disabilities but the hill was still achievable for me but it just took a long time to walk up.

from the first greeting you could tell the Hosts Shaun and Rose intended to do everything to make sure you had an enjoyable time while you stayed in their Guesthouse in Dartmouth. Shaun showed us to our room then he unloaded our car and brought out cases to the room and Rose provided homemade cake. we stayed in the Castle view room and the view was spectacular, high over the marina down to the castle at the river mouth. we liked all the little extras that came with the room like fresh milk in the fridge, a pair of binoculars to look at the boats in the harbour, tea, coffee and a few snacks for your enjoyment. breakfast was superb with loads of options and homemade jam and marmalade with your toast. nothing seemed to much trouble.

Having breakfast with a view and having a choice of items. Some of the ingredients were home grown or locally produced. Everything was very fresh and cooked to order.

Would have preferred a "stand up" shower, but the shower in the bath came with the room with the spectacular view so can't complain. Quite a steep climb from the town back up to the property but at least it kept us fit and helped to work off all the calories we had piled on.

Beautiful property with very impressive views. Spacious and comfortable room again with a fantastic view. enjoyed the breakfast with lovely home grown fruit compotes and fruit salads.

The breakfast was superb and the view from our room was amazing. The only drawback was the very steep hill to get to and from the town but without the hill we would not have had the fantastic view.

Dartmouth is a hilly area and walking up and down the hill to the guest house was too much for my wife who cannot walk far. This would not have been a problem under normal circumstances when parking would have been available down in the town. Unfortunately, we chose to stay in Dartmouth when the Food Festival was taking place and it was impossible to find a place to park in the town.

The view from the room window over Dartmouth was spectacular and the food and service was first class

Nothing that we can think of - we had a wonderful stay.

Our hosts, Rose and Shaun were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble during our 3 night stay. The room had a wonderful view over Dartmouth and the river. The room was very comfortable with lots of little extras like binoculars for taking in the view and a supply of magazines and paperbacks in the room . Breakfast was fabulous with a great choice, with home grown fruit and homemade jam.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to the river down quite a steep hill. Remember you have to walk back up ! The room we had was excellent with view across the river and town and out to sea.

We have done our research and were confident Mounthaven would be good. It was superb in all ways. The key outstanding points: * Great hosts who were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. * Large spacious room with fantastic view looking over Dartmouth / river Dart/ Kingswear *In easy walking distance (5-10 mins) of the town albeit uphill on the way back. * Fridge in the room. * Lovely breakfast * We loved the very personalized experience from both hosts and the property

Excellent location. Friendly welcome with cake fresh from the oven served on the terrace with beautiful views of Dartmouth. Rose & Shaun made me feel at home from the off. Great advice given on walks and best way to visit Greenway House. Breakfast lovely with delicious homemade jam and stewed fruit compote granola.

Superb views and fantastic accommodation with lovely hosts. Wonderful breakfast enjoyed on the patio overlooking Dartmouth. Great place to stay with lots of tips about where to explore. Most days left the car at the accommodation and walked and used ferries etc.

Very minor, but the bed was a little too soft for us. Also, the en-suite has a bath instead of a shower and, whilst the water was very hot for the first bath, there was not enough hot water for two full baths. That said, the bath is a lovely spacious corner bath which is very relaxing to use.

The people that run it are very welcoming and accommodating. It is kept immaculate and we were able to come and go as we pleased without feeling as though we were disturbing anyone. The room was well equipped, the view stunning and the location to the town centre was perfect.
