Such a great place to stay in Newcastle, definitely a touch of luxury. Beautifully decorated, peaceful, amazing views of the mountains and just around the corner from an amazing wee pub/restaurant called The Maghera Inn we had dinner here and it was brilliant! Had everything we could need for our stay, lovely comfy beds spotlessly clean. Wish we could have stayed longer :o)

Perfect getaway, this was our second time staying at Mourne Magic House. It is just so peaceful and relaxing. The location is ideal, a few minutes to all the beautiful local parks and beaches. Climbed Slieve Donard (5mins drive) the 2nd day and was so lovely to come home and sit out by the river and relax in the sun. House is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with very comfortable superking beds. Good WiFi and TV with netflix. Just the perfect stay once again thank you Anna and Marty for the lovely stay :o)

Stunning location on the outskirts of Newcastle with a brilliant view of the High Mournes. My wife and I only booked last minute (which we rarely do) and it proved to be a great decision. Very clean, cosy but super spacious. Everything that you could need was provided (including the hosts reccomending dinner at the Magerah Inn - beautiful little spot 1 minute drive away). Overall a perfect stay, highly reccomend.

Beautiful location , beautiful house, lovely decking area to sit out back overlooking river and 2 beautiful horses in field across. The house spotlessly clean and decor beautiful with lots of lovely little touches throughout, beds so comfy, everything provided - towels, toiletries, teas, coffee, small bottle of milk. Plus lovely welcome gift in kitchen for arrival. Had the pleasure of meeting one of the hosts Marty who gave us a lift into Newcastle after our taxi hadnt waited which was so kind of him to offer. Highly recommend staying at Mourne Magic and we will defo be back!

Nothing at all everything was exceptional

Absolutely loved our stay the house is beautiful and so homely. It was spotless, all essential items you could think of were there in the kitchen and bathroom. Hot water bottle in bedroom made my night lol the simple things. Weather put a bit of a dampner on things we will definitely be back again with kids next time in better weather and make good use of the decking area. Would honestly highly recommend 👌

The outside seating area beside the river was nice but no view.

Loved the bedrooms which were very comfortable and the living room/kitchen which had everything we needed. The views from the upstairs windows were amazing.

Beautiful property, stunning views of the mountain from the kitchen living area. So clean and tidy and beautiful decor. The hosts left us a lovely little welcome box with yummy treats which was so thoughtful. Would definitely love to stay here again. The kids absolutely loved it!

I booked this stay for me and my husband for his birthday! It was absolutely perfect, couldn't fault it in any way! The location is perfect as located just 2mins from Newcastle Main street of a quiet country road so we a great nights sleep. The superking bed was so comfortable with mountain views I actually felt like I was in a luxury hotel!The house has a gorgeous outdoor seating area and garden overlooking the river and stunning mountain views from the front of the property!We hiked Slieve Donard on Day 2 which was just 5minutes drive and coming home and relaxing in the evening sun to the sounds of the birds and the riverside was just magical! We will definitely be returning!The hosts were lovely too and left us a personalised welcome hamper which was a beautiful touch!Great value for what you get!

Couldn't fault it.

Beautiful property. From the classy interior to the wonderful views of the Mournes to the front and river to the rear the house was simply 5 Star. My husband and our two children had great adventures during the day and by the evening we just wanted to put our feet up and relax! The outdoor decking, which is directly over a river was a particular highlight. Beds were super comfy too. Would loved to have stayed for longer.

Luxury accommodation in Newcastle. My partner and I have stayed in Newcastle before, however this was by far the best place we have experienced. We found the main street to be very noisy at the weekend, but with this property being located a couple of minutes from the centre of town, we had the best of both worlds. The house was very spacious (we commented that we could live there long term!). The bedroom was a prefect mix of comfort and luxury and the view from the master bedroom and upstairs living space is stunning. Hosts were helpful and thoughtful with the welcome pack and recommendations for the local area.
