ITS NOT THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE. We’d have preferred to have two chairs when there are two of us-not a big thing but we’re too old for hubby sitting on the floor or the bed while he gives me the chair. I mentioned to Morag that the twin dispenser for shower soap,shampoo &/or conditioner was confusing as I couldn’t tell which was which but she was aware and already getting it changed- very ‘on the ball’👍🏻

We never had breakfast but we did use the local chippy who were excellent in their food serving, customer care and above and beyond with our dog Frank he got a huge sausage and we offered to pay but we were told dogs don’t have pockets so dogs don’t have to pay! How kind is that 👍🏻The area is very pleasant, a pub opposite and never heard a thing from there. When we left we said thanks & goodbyes to Morag and the nice young lass who works with her, off we went and about 10 minutes later Morag rang me to say I left my bag in the room (I hadn’t noticed) really on-the-ball, helpful, pleasant & honest. The room was very clean nothing bad to say about our stay in Muir Bank.

Very clean and sizeable room . We were stopping over on way home from Orkney and was ideal for us . Dog friendly and plenty tea coffee and microwave in room a bonus as only Indian takeaway open . Very happy with accommodation and a good price

Next to the main road although double glazing is decent and traffic does slow, Not easy to open windows

The car park was a little small and if people aren't considerate with their parking, you would run out of space pretty fast.

We liked everything.

Fantastic accommodation. The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and lovely, and it was fully equipped with everything you required and more. The en suite was a great size and it was spotless. Morag was lovely and very accommodating, and the communication was brilliant! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is right by a road junction so the traffic noise was quite loud in the early evening but it was quiet during the night.

Very comfortable, well equipped room. Easy check in with clear instructions. The location is ideal for a stopover on the way further up north. We would definitely stay again.
