Tyrone and Neil were exellent hosts very friendly and attentive. A lot of thought had been given to the furnishings and comfort of the cottage and all work had been finished to a high standard. We very much appreciated the final touch as we were leaving that they had cleaned our car window screen, thank you.

The parking was tight at the back, but Neil and Tyrone communicated really clearly re where we could park.

Our room was beautifully decorated. The outside area was well-maintained with plenty of seating. The breakfast room was comfortable and cosy.

This charming property was beautifully presented with exceptional attention to detail. Very helpful and welcoming hosts. Neil and Tyrone have put so much thought, love and care into this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The food was delicious. Plenty of choice. Very very comfortable rooms. So clean everywhere. I cannot recommend this place enough. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you guys for your hospitality. We really felt spoilt

Our second visit to Myrtle Cottage and once again very much enjoyed Neil and Tyrone's exceptional hospitality. They go above and beyond to provide a warm welcome, with added little luxuries. The cottage is comfortable, classy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is lovely - we enjoyed the delicious fresh fruit salad and Full English.

Beware of low door thresholds - definitely part of the charm of the building but tall people should take care!

Charming property, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. There were lots of little extras, including a slice of delicious lemon drizzle cake on arrival. The host were friendly and charming and couldn’t have done more to make my stay enjoyable. The value for money was outstanding.

Property has had an extensive refurb to the highest quality. Rooms are very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and made us and our dog feel at home.Breakfast was very good and also gave our dog a breakfast.

We all absolutely loved our stay at Myrtle Cottage. After a day walking the coast path it was great to come back to such comfortable bedrooms and Tyrone and Neil were the perfect hosts and made us all feel so welcome. First class breakfast on Sunday morning , great location, very dog friendly and wonderful hosts.... thank you- we shall be back again. Myrtle Cottage really is a gem. Highly Recommended.

Everything about Myrtle Cottage was amazing, the owners are lovely and will do all they can to make your stay homely and perfect. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all the mod cons. There are loads of great finishing touches which make the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable! The breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had, with high quality local ingredients (10/10 sausages). My partner also loved that the owners went out of their way to provide an excellent vegetarian breakfast with good vegan bacon. Overall, the best B&B we've ever been to and a bargain for the prices charged! We'll be recommending it to friends and family for a long time.

Neil and Tyrone were the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and accommodating. I came off the moor after a 2 day wet and muddy hike, having fallen in a river 3 times, and within minutes I felt like a little prince - supplied with slippers, homemade lemon drizzle cake and a hot bath! Very comfortable room and a great breakfast, I really could not have asked for more.

Tyrone & Neil were so welcoming and lovely, our rooms were top notch and the breakfast just what we needed before a day's walking. It was great having a drying room for our wet boots and all the little extras like toiletries. One of the nicest best value for money b&bs I've stayed in, can thoroughly recommend.
