Decor in bedroom a little tired.

We had a very pleasant couple of nights. The accommodation is very bright and comfortable, pretty garden, tasty breakfasts, parking on site, and only short walk into St Mawes.

    Having to leave

Great location, tastefully decorated, clean, bright, and welcoming. Amelia and Tim were super hosts, and we were made to feel very welcome. It was lovely to be able to wander around the garden freely. Breakfast was a real treat with delicious homemade granola, rhubarb compote and zingy marmalade... Tims' "specials" were a good choice for us and we even got to try Amelias' homemade Kefir. Sitting out in the garden at night with a glass of wine under a blanket of black velvet peppered with diamonds. Will certainly be back next year.

There were some mouldy patches around the shower tray and some cobwebs at the window. We asked to stay for a 3rd night but had to move to a different room, unfortunately this room was very small so not as comfortable as the first.

The breakfast was nice but not exceptional. We loved our room. It was very comfortable. I particularly liked the feather duvet and pillows and the cotton bed linen.

Our stay at Nearwater was perfect from start to finish of our mini break. Our room was very clean ,bright and fresh. Amelia and Tim were superb hosts , their knowledge of the area and suggestions for ways to send our days spot on. Breakfast was super and made even better being able to enjoy it in the lovely garden.
