Such a beautiful and peaceful spot. Went for a lovley walk to the vineyard and loop round the town, dinner in the New Inn and finished the evening with the fire pit at the horse box.

The only thing was the cushions on the bed could've done with a clean. There was some suspicious marks on them that meant the cushions was on the floor for our stay. Very small detail but because of how amazing everything else was, it didn't effect our stay!

It was perfect for what we wanted - a cute little country stay near some cute animals! It rained the entire weekend but it did not effect our stay whatsoever as our host was great in messaging ahead to bring suitable shoes for getting to the horsebox! It came in super useful and we were warm the entire time. The fire inside is a lovely touch that we very much enjoyed just sitting in front of the fire.

Everything. It was absolutely splendid. The owners have done a brilliant job converting the horsebox into somewhere people can go to relax. I read everything that was left in the leaflet and it said that the shetland pony likes to escape. And escape it did. Fences were shut off but we had quite the awakening when the big shetland was having his morning scratch against the converted horsebox. Im not complaining it was actually quite nice to wake up to. Had a fuss then helped them both back into the field. Definitely going to be rebooking for a nice relaxing weekend away. Thank you for letting me and my partner stay. Would have appreciated a map of walking routes. Cushions on chest helped but a cushioned base as well would have made sitting in due to rain more comfortable.

Horse box has been beautifully converted with everything you could need! Surrounding area is stunning and peaceful. Booked the horse box as we were going to a local wine tasting experience and was able to walk there. Had an amazing and romantic stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back again soon!

Although we had been expecting a breakfast hamper it was not available, supposedely withdrawn due to insurance problems. It would have been nice to have been advised of this beforehand. A scourer would have been useful to clean the BBQ grill.

Location wonderful and peaceful. Horses and donkey in the next field were lovely. Horsebox was clean and neat and tidy BBQ/Firepit were nice.

It was a really unique place to stay and the horse ox was really well converted and beautifully decorated. It was quiet and felt like it was far into the countryside, but actually it was just a few minutes drive to Battle and Hastings.

The only thing which could be improved is the lighting walking to the cabin but other than that was perfect.

The location is perfect! Not too far from Hastings sea front. Neddy's rest has everything you need for a nice quiet stay. also the view is so peaceful, full of friendly animals.

Would have liked some jam/marmalade to go with the croissants. But I'm being very picky.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a relaxing restful day/night It's really quiet, except for Chalky the Donkey but he just made us smile. Beautifully decorated, clever use of space. Very comfortable night sleep, woke up to see rabbits hopping everywhere.

Nothing, the whole experience was perfect.

What a location, total relaxation. The horse box position in the field meant that you felt that it was just you and nature. It's off grid so minimal environmental impact and the hosts provided a cool box with milk, butter and orange juice along with plenty of goodies for breakfast which was great. In the evening we sat around a wood fire outside while watching the sky for shooting stars. Simply magical.

This certainly 'does what it says on the Tin'. And if you want a quiet, rural out of the way retreat for a night or more "give Neddy and his team a chance" It's not the largest of places I've stayed .... but then again you've plenty of fields on the outside of the room ..... and if you are feeling adventurous, you will certainly have lots to tell your friends about, after your stay
