No complaints although one chair in the room had a loose leg, chair promptly removed but not replaced before we left

Excellent location, room great with sea view, good standard of food & wine well priced. Staff very helpful & although the hotel couldn't influence the weather was great.

The wifi is quite bad for the pricepoint. Also, it was a shame that there were no board games like chess, although this is very minor. The shower is very loud, we had to wear earplugs to not be deafened.

Staff was very nice, the view is obviously exceptional. The breakfast was great and had a lot of options. The room was lovely and the bed was nice. Just beside the train station and promenade too so very accessible.

Just two small additions, for disabled guests a raised toilet seat and a chair in the shower, both could be removed for 'able bodied' guests and a hand rail by the loo and at sitting height in the shower. The disabled facilities were otherwise fine.

The food and the service were exceptional. The staff have a wonderful attitude.

The room was simple but can't really fault it otherwise.

The room was simple and basic but that doesn't really matter when the grounds are this beautiful. The outside is absolutely stunning and there's no need to stay in the room anyway. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and dinner was absolutely delicious.

The bed was a bit short for me. Breakfast started late (8am) and the spa finished too early (5.30pm). Meals were too expensive.

The downstairs and grounds were lovely. Very comfortable bed.

The only thing that spoiled it for us was the limited menu.they did have specials but when you're there for 5 nights or more we were struggling on the last couple of nights to choose something and they had the same two vegetables all week with most of the dishes!!!

Everything from the view overlooking the bay,the log fire in the lounge and bar area, the buffet breakfast and the a-la carte menu at night

Would have liked a separate cocktail lounge in addition to the current space that blends the bar with dining.

An elevator made toting luggage easier. Rooms and faciliies are clean, comfortable and charming with the feeling of a large traditional Victorian country house. Definitely relaxing.

Certain things needed attention. The Temperature of water at the hot tap was way too hot and above legal recommendations.I burned my foot in the bath from water coming from the hot tap. The Hotel were not able to provide cream for the burn from their so called First Aid Box. Our party had 3 "Enhanced Rooms with sea views" and none of them had proper functioning showers. We were all disturbed during the nights by banging sounds coming from above several times during the night. The food was OK but very expensive and probably not worth the cost. Menu was limited

The property was a period House and was very attractive both externally and internally. The Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

The only negative thing we can say was that it is a long way from the car park to the room! We were on the 2nd leg of our trip and had quite a bit of baggage, and with hubby not very well, and me with a bad back, it was a marathon to get to the room. Even with the lift! The receptionist did offer to help. You can park by the door in to the lift to unload and pack and then move car to parking spot.

The room was excellent, very spacious with a wonderful view of the sea. Very warm and beautifully decorated. Super shower and bath. Extremely comfortable. Breakfast was super with delicious fresh fruit, pastries and hot buffet, fully catered for gluten free diet. As we took our dog, we sat in the bar to eat, where we got excellent service - we could have been forgotten! The staff were so friendly and efficient and made a fuss of the dog. Dinner was also delicious. Extensive menu. So many things I could have chosen. Again we sat in the bar with dog and service was excellent. Bar staff also very friendly and helpful.

Too quiet most things closed due to time of year limited choice of places to eat in the evening walking distance. Front door being locked even thou you could arrange for it to opened it would of been better if you had a buzzer to be let in

    Hotel was beautiful surrounding
