Bit low of staff so bar was not open.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fantastic and lovely coffee. The location is pretty secluded so quiet at night, exactly what I needed.

It was a little difficult to find as you arrive at a surrounding metal fence with a gate with a large sign 'security' which makes you think you have come to the wrong place as there is no sign there for the lodge. Dont worry - go inside metal gate, travel past the agricultural buildings and you will find a sign to 'hotel and restaurant' - there you will find the lodge.

The hotel was very nice, clean and well organised. The room was comfortable and the ensuite spacious

Just a really small room but not a major issue. Everything else was great.

Breakfast really good. Food in the bar on evening was really nice. Room was very basic and small but had what we needed so it was fit for purpose and clean. The young guy who worked there do so lovely and couldn’t do enough for me and my dogs. He was great. Bar staff lovely too. Great stay and we will return on the next dog show for sure.

Nothing, it served its purpose and was really convenient.

I was working at the rally in the showground and there was a problem which delayed the end. I had a 4 hour drive with a car and trailer over the Welsh mountains. So it was a perfect spot to make a last minute stay over decision.

The only thing that I would say is that the shower was pretty weak and really could of done with more pressure. It was enough to get you clean but it would of been really nice to have more pressure.

The lodge is set in a really lovely location, and just a 15/20min walk into the town center where you can find many pubs and a few shops. The staff were truly amazing and really couldn't do enough to help you. Very friendly and helpful. Owen and Steve are nice to talk too. I didn't meet any of the others but I am sure they are great too! The room was clean and tidy and the beds were really comfortable too. Breakfast was really nice and had cereals, yogurts and fruit juices, very kind of them to make bacon sandwich for my friend who was hungover every morning and couldn't make it to breakfast :)

Not easy to find in the darkness, but extremely helpful staff helped me a lot. Would be good to have a ground coffee for a breakfast, but it's only my opinion. Breakfast prepared very well, served quick. Bar and kitchen opened till late, during my stay, so another positive thing.

Nice, cosy room. Clean and spacious bathroom. Only 1 night, but definitely I will come back.

To be called multiple times and accused of stealing towels !! When, in fact, no towels were taken from my family, I've even offered to send £ to stop the calls

The window was open in the room on arrival which made it a bit chilly as our stay was in late November, however it warmed up quickly once the window was shut.

The location was ideal for an event we were attending in the local area. The accommodation was a cheap and cheerful base for us to get some rest. The rooms were clean and tidy, in good condition. The food was good and reasonably priced.

No food available Sunday teatime, but was easy walk into Builth itself, so not a major problem.

Ideal location on the Showground after a day at a dog show. Very quiet and informal. Great breakfast and very hospitable host. Will certainly stay again when next down at Builth.
