The bed was far too small for a couple and collapsing in the middle. There is not enough seating in the lounge area. The shower is difficult to adjust, and bad water pressure. There was a smoky smell and wall plugin perfumes used to disguise it.

The bed- mattress all you could feel was the springs. Also for a couple who are 6ft/ 6ft.4 the bed was uncomfortable. Very loud neighbours- light switches to the side and heavy footsteps above. Stained rug which didn’t look very nice.

Location was great, we were lucky enough to be there over a weekend and bank holiday so didn’t need to worry about paying to park. Otherwise it would cost a small fortune. Kitchen facilities were great. Easy access and nice spacious room.

It’s not the property, it’s the grindingly painful process to pay a security deposit on the day of the stay. I’ve done this twice now and the process doesn’t work well. I spent the best part of an hour texting and ringing to get this sorted out, all the time fearing it would go wrong and I would have nowhere to stay. The staff at Hopewell were absolutely great, but the process is a disaster.

Rather chilly. Room wouldn't heat above 17.5 despite trying to heat up to 19 so I had a shower to warm up as it was minus 2 outside!

Bed was too soft and small, pillows too soft. And outside security light faulty, shining into the room at night keeping us awake. Could not be fixed as the weekend.

The bed was appalling, it's a tiny bed in a very big space. It's metal framed and very loose so it rattles persistently with even the minutest of movement. On the first morning nearly gashed my leg on a protruding spring from the mattress, my wife barely slept it was that uncomfortable which prompted an immediate phone-call to the managing agents, Hopewell, to demand that the mattress be changed (which in fairness they did). I have ticked the box saying that 'I wouldn't stay here again' based solely on the quality of the sleeping arrangements. If you want me to stay here again (& I would in a heartbeat) CHANGE THE BED. It threatened to spoil what was a very nice stay. I hope that this review informs other potential stays the BIG downside of a rather lovely apartment...

Nothing i can blame the hosts over, however, the Doors slam. (Safety doors). Neighbours left at 7 am and the door woke us up! Shower was a bit of a mystery on how to get the temperature correct. If I were staying longer I would have called about the shower for advice, however it was a small inconvenience for a few minutes in the morning.

The bed was so uncomfortable, there was a spring sticking out the mattress & it squeaked and creaked with every movement. It was a shame given everything else was lovely. Also I thought given the size and standard of the apartment too it was odd the bed wasn't king sized too.

Apartment had a damp smell (particularly bathroom) and lack of a sofa, although it was beautifully furnished. My bug bear was the lock box - that just might be me as I have carpal tunnel syndrome, but I broke 2 nails trying to get it open!

The only couch in the living room was very badly stained - this was reported with photo’s immediately as a deposit of £150 was held in authorisation on my card - This really let the standard of the accommodation down . I was keen to ensure that we would not be held responsible. This was never acknowledged during our stay.

Very small point - would have a liked a larger dining table, it was little small even for 2 people, though the room was huge and spacious enough to fit one! Apart from that minor niggle, everything was great.

Comfortable apartment, with spacious kitchen/living area. The ktichen was well-appointed, the bedroom very comfortable, the bathroom was slightly small but comfortable and the shower cubicle was spacious. Well decorated & clean throughout The location was ideal for us (close to Clifton) and lots of restaurants/bars on the doorstep.
