Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, room lovely and clean, bed comfortable, lovely sea view, didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on food, would stay here again, perfect location.

Breakfast service was slow and the toast was always burnt, the bedrooms are tired - otherwise pretty much ok

Quite a good choice for breakfast, good view over the Promenade, excellent position as it is very central - and the staff - especially on Reception, were polite and very helpful - really nice people!

- Supplied toiletries is just a very small bar of soap - no shower gel or shampoo - Bathroom is a little small, but good enough - Didn't appreciate being awoken at 7:45am by the night porter who wanted to check what date we were checking out (don't they know this?!) - On the last day the cleaner turned up at 10am asking when we were leaving. Check out is 11am. - There can be some noise from the high street although it didn't bother us - One of the windows was slightly broken meaning it didn't open, nor could be close it completely

+ Great location right on the high street to the beach + Staff were always available + Could check in any time (good for us as we arrived at 2am due to severe train delays) + Our room (201) wasn't advertised as seaview although we could see the beach and sea + Good sized mugs for tea/coffee + Decent WiFi + Changed uncomfortable matress for us

Decor was very dated. Floorboards creaked in our room so probably disturbed people downstairs. Stains on carpet and bathroom could have done with a deep clean.

Hotel was right near the beach and pier. It is what it is. A cheap night stay. Breakfast was lovely. Most of the staff we quite abrupt if you spoke to them but the man in the dining room was rather lovely and helpful.

Clean hotel, good size bathroom. Breakfast was pretty reasonable for £5 extra, although the service was slow but I think it was probably due to staff shortage like most places these days but under the circumstances the waiters did a fantastic job. 8

Hotel is very dated and needs a refurb , carpets worn and threadbare in places. Wallpaper peeling off. Only one lift working. Regimented meal times, you're given a slot!! No toiletries suppled as stated, only a bar of soap. Requested some more toast at breakfast and were told "too late, they've thrown it all away!!" The location is a nightmare to find a parking space nearby.. We're in our early 60s and felt that like we were in a retirement home!!!

There were few maintenance issues in the room. Breakfast served too early (8:30, no choice given)

Location is perfect and it's a lovely looking hotel with very helpful and professional staff. Room was clean and sea view was amazing. Breakfast served was decent quality with quite a few options for continental breakfast. There is no dedicated parking but you can buy a whole day parking pass for £5. We would definitely stay again.

if there was something it was that we were allocated a slot for breakfast for 8am which there was no changing,because I was on holiday and we could not have a lay in but every else was excellent.

Very good room,bed very comfortable,shower excellent the pressure was very very good,well the breakfast was excellent, the location was the best right on the front over looking brittania pier and a beautiful view of the sea.

there were no parking at the hotel… only off street parking… only £5 per day but not advertised on there website… plus it’s a first come first serve so your guaranteed a spot close to hotel.
