The whole hotel was shabby. We were on the top floor with no lift. The room sloped so much so I feared rolling out of bed. The wardrobe was broken but that could have been due to the sloping floor.Ensuite shower room was tiny. Parking was either behind the hotel or on the main road with only a few spaces. Internet only available in the main reception and no phone signal.

The hotel was situated between the central pier and south pier so handy for sightseeing.

Staff wasn't very pleasant. Had to put a damage deposit down. Was told baby best not spill any juice on the bed or make a mess so immediately this was very uncomfortable. Before leaving we was told to basically do the cleaners job or we will not recieve the damage deposit back. Upon taking the rubbish out the guy said saves the cleaner coming. Noticed the baby had spots and pulled sheets back and the bed had bedbugs. I myself also had bites on my legs.

Hotel was very nice on entrance. Rooms looked great also.

Very uncomfortable bed. The smallest bathroom I’ve ever used. Had to pay an additional £30 for my dog, expected to pay a fee but not that high, wasn’t informed of this until I arrived. Had to leave car keys at reception for the car park as had to block cars in, again this wasn’t mentioned pre arrival.

Advertised as bed and breakfast. That is what I booked and paid for. No breakfasts supplied. Was told cafe round back street was good! Toilet was very small and decor in bedroom very poor. Won't be back.

Was only given 2 small towels for 2 night stay for 2 adults, requested fresh next day as these towels also had to be used as bath mat because floor was slippery after shower was told only untitled to fresh ones every 3 days.

The beds could have been better, came home with a bad back due to poor quality of the mattress. Didn't like the fact that I got accused of robbing a £2.50 towel as the staff didn't look properly and it was on the floor under the bunk bed all along as there was only 4 towels when we entered the room on Friday night.

Even though there's a scaffolding up on the building I liked the sew view. 1 staff member was nice

We were in room 15. The toilet was loose and on a slant, this could do with being repaired. The floor boards outside of our room are really creeky, when people walked over it this echoed in our room, which kept us awake until at least midnight. Mattresses need replacing... For a young couple the beds killed our backs! On our last night the other clients were so inconsiderate talking and shouting outside our door, I know this isn't a hotel problem direct but maybe something to consider is sound proofing the rooms. We have a 7 year old who was kept awake till after midnight which just isn't fair.

The hotel is in a prime location. The staff are very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Hotel room was very clean, high dusting had been done, plenty of tea and coffee.

Their was no one around or at the reception when we arrived,the bedding was never changed, and there were no clean towels we had to use the same ones the 3 day we were there . When we came to check out one of the staff said they were keeping £20:00 of deposit for cleaning charges because their was some make-up on the bedding....

2 of the staff were pleasant and easy to get on with, and the drinks were a reasonable price.

Entertainment was very loud, our room was above the music, it went on till nearly midnight, so kept us awake, Shower either burnt or was feeezing, bathroom tap kept sticking so water was trickling all night, no toilet roll, kettle had to be boiled on the floor as the table provided was too far away, not great with kids in the room, bunk beds were very rickety and noisy, all beds were small and uncomfortable, staff were blunt and unhelpful. Bar was cash only as was the £50 deposit for damages, recommended nearby cash machines didn’t work! All quite stressful for one nights stay! The room was poor quality, blinds didn’t cover the window so was disturbed by the daylight blasting through, the light in corridor was also kept on all night so light shone through around the door. ironic that we were asked to pay a deposit incase if damages! There was nothing left to break!!!

Not very clean. Floor felt dirty underfoot. Left children’s socks dirty. Blinds need replacing. One bed had lost the springs in mattress so very uncomfortable. No plug for kettle, the only plug in the room was over a child’s bed (single bed)
