Great location, lovely and clean, on a nice site. Owners were nice and even treated us to breakfast items which wasn’t expected. We stayed here for one night prior to walking up snowdon which is only a short drive away.

We’ve stayed at the property before so we knew to expect perfect value for money. We’ve always stayed at the end of season for New Year so we know we don’t get the full potential of the chalet as it is cold, wet and miserable this time of year. However, the radiators are enough to keep the bedrooms warm and lots of fleecy blankets are provided. The new couch is lovely to snuggle up together with family. The kitchen is provided with everything you need for it to be a home from home. Bathroom is clean and as much as you can expect for a chalet (I just wanted to add this as I’ve seen a few reviews slating the bathroom but it needs to be remembered it’s not a 4 star hotel but probably a few steps up from basic glamping and it really does its job okay!!) The toilet works, the shower does its job and it’s clean. The door handle, I’m sure, will be fixed during shut down but it’s not really that big of an issue. The chalet is in a lovely area of the park and has a lovey spot just close to the river. The location of Glan Gwana is perfect for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding areas and Caernarfon is literally down the road. I would highly recommend this lodge if you’re after a good for value chalet stay and I’m sure we will book again in the future.

The chalet was verry clean and tidy the host was very polite and welcoming ... the walk around glan gwna holiday park was so peaceful it was a nice get away for me and my partner . As i am from caernarfon originaly but moved away .. I have always been fond of glan gwna as it is a grate holiday park but i would reckomend anyone to book this chalet as its so cosy and relaxing and the host is a lovely woman .. i will 100% be booking this chalet again thank you !!

2 bedrooms, very clean, modern design, great communication from the helpful owner. A few minutes away from Caernarfon, 15 minutes from Llanberis/Snowdon. Excellent value for money for an overnight or short stay.

I was not aware about a deposit needed. I was contacted the day prior to arrival but as I was on a motorbike and ferry I did not see the message. Upon arrival I did read the message and access was given before I made the deposit transfer. The last minute request for a deposit and delays from bank to bank transfer meant I sent two transfers from two banks as the owner was insisting they receive a deposit. This spoiled the arrival experience to be honest. Both deposits were returned no problem. Toilet seat was broken, it had a crack. It did nip a little 😮. Owner did tell me this on our several deposit phone calls. I was advised this happened the previous weekend, 5 days previously. Doesn't take long to change a broken toilet seat

Clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Small touches like bread, butter, milk being supplied were a welcome surprise. Facilities on the holiday resort also excellent. Pool side bar had friendly welcome and good food and drink
