Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomParking at back of apartment isn’t suitable for 2 cars if 1 of the apartment have big car( our preference) . Luckily the other apartment guests parked across the road. We would have to if needed as there was plenty off site parking.
Location was brilliant for us. Perfect for what we needed the apartment for. Host very helpful and willing to answer any questions prior to arriving at the apartment. Would stay here again. Apartment as it describes. Once again thankyou

The apartment was modern, tidy and looked after. The property is lovely inside and bigger than it looks on the pictures advertised. Great little place.

IrelandThe apartment was really lovely, lots of space, very comfortable beds, lovely big shower, instructions given by owners were perfect. The location although a little out of town was so convenient the no 79 bus leaves from just outside into town regularly. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

United Kingdomnothing, everything was great. the only bad thing I can think of was they could have fit another sofa or chair in the living area as there was not enough seating for 4 of us
it's was so clean and even tho we didn't get there till late was easy to find and there were tea bags for a brew which was a bonus. we had an issue with the key lock but the owners were quick to sort the issue. great location aswell. we drove from the city but there was a taxi rank right outside and a bus stop with a bus into the city if we needed it. it was a shame we only spent 1 night there. will definatly look here first if coming back to Liverpool 😊

United KingdomIt was a bit pricey over Christmas which I feel was a bit unnecessary. But overall I have no complaints.
Super clean and terrific location near to my Sister for Christmas. Great flat for a small family, just me and my two kids who share the mezzanine room above the open plan lounge. They love it as it’s kind of cool.

CanadaThere is a badly patched section of plasterwork in the bathroom near and below the toilet roll holder. This area seems to have been repaired with some kind of glue which has gone brown as it has aged. Not a great look in a bathroom - blobs of brown - even though it looks obvious that this must have been some kind of adhesive. We appreciated the great number of towels and bedding supplied. Possibly a lighter weight duvet option might have been good. The ones supplied were lovely and cosy on those cold days during our stay, but they were a bit too much. A thinner optiin would have been my preference. As mentioned above, a way if dealing with the rubbish would have been good, as our staybwas six days long. Is there a rubbish bin outside which the instructions coud mention? (we like to be tidy guests!) Also, a broom with a dustpan would be a good addition to the flat. We loved it and didn't feel great about walking in mud and leaves with no way to round them up and bin them.
The flat was very well supplied with items which made self-catering easy. The flat is as the images show, with very minor signs of wear and tear. Previous renters have left tea bags and other dry goods which adds to the home-from-home feel to the place. People renting the flat opposite were pleasant and friendly. Didn't meet our hosts, which was fine as the instruction book answered most questions (such as what's the wifi code? - the modem was unplugged but we soon figured it out). The only unanswered question was possibly what to donwith the rubbish? (maybe it's unusual to stay for a week. It seemed a long time to have open refuse in the flat. Also there were no recycling instructions, sonwe assumed there is no residentialnrecycling service. We rounded up glass bottles into a cardboard box, to make them easier to transport. It could do with broom so renters can help to keep it tidy. There is some street noise in the early morning, as it is a major roundabout, but that's to be expected when staying in such a hub for transit, walking and for local amenities such as the Five Ways pub. It's a longish walk or a short bus ride to Calderstones Park, a 'must visit' for us and well worth making time to explore for anyone new to Liverpool.

United KingdomEverything was great. Being really picky upstairs double didn't have hanging space, just drawers. Road is very busy and quite noisy but didn't keep us awake. Table is very small if you wanted to dine there!! Think six people sharing one toilet and shower would be pushing it and bed setee quite small to use as double bed but would be ok for children. Bit of litter and cigarette buts in alley way, but it is shared with the shops. But overall, for the price, fantastic.
Good location on bus routes to Liverpool Centre, just 10 mins away. Spacious, clean and modern just as photos show. Beds comfy, though pillows a bit flat! Plenty of hanging space in double bedroom. Shower great, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, body lotion provided. Lots of spare toilet rolls ( this seemed to be an issue in other reviews). Lovely new soft towels provided. Good hairdryer. Parking space for one car at rear, plenty on surrounding street. Tea, coffee, salt, oil, etc. in kitchen. We didn't cook there but looked to be well equipped. Weatherspoons just across road so great for breakfast. We were a party of three adults. Staff available just below flat, very pleasant and helpful. Thank you. Would definitely stay again.

United KingdomAs the twin room was above the lounge on semi balcony, once children in bed made it difficult to use lounge as no way to block noise / light (no door). Weather and flat orientation made it very warm. Some fans or similar to help cool the flat would have been nice.
Excellent shower. Bedrooms as described, easily slept all people staying. Kitchen well resourced re cooking tools. Good location with selection of shops and a Morrisons daily a short walk away.

United StatesWe really had no complaints about the apartment. It was excellent, so this comment is just because they asked for something we didnt like. This was a very minor inconvenience. It was our first time in this area and the fixtures for the shower were new to us. Maybe it sounds dumb, but a brief instruction on which knob does what and which direction it goes would be helpful, but it wasnt a major issue.... just got a blast of cold water.
We loved that it was right across the street from an excellent pub, the bus stop was right around the corner so we could travel with no problems at all. The apartment was clean and comfortable

United KingdomThe hot water in the shower could have been hotter (but I do like it very hot! Everyone else was fine with it.)
This is a clean, comfortable apartment in a pleasant area of Liverpool with easy links to the city centre. Both bedrooms were spacious, and the kitchen area had everything you’d expect. Bathroom was lovely. There is parking, but on at least one occasion vans from local shops blocked access. Plenty of safe road parking nearby. We were two couples and there was plenty of room - it might feel a bit crowded with six (sofa bed in living area). Damage deposit (£200) was returned within 24 hours of leaving.
