It was cold and the heating did not work. We were charged for cleaning however there was dirty laundry in a washing basket when we arrived. We had to double up on the duvets in the spare room as they are very thin and not much warmth. TV available however no WIFI so had to connect our phones in order to use it.

Easy to collect keys was perfect for what we needed, a place to lay our heads and walking distance from Anfield Stadium. Very easy to contact the host and they were more than helpful with any questions we had. Easy to get to from city centre buses going every few minutes to Anfield.

The whole house had heating on which could not be switched off. I couldn't even open the windows as they were all locked.Result was I didn't get any sleep and had to go to work early the next morning. Surprisingly the bath temperature was lukewarm unlike the rest of the house!! No toilet paper

Back yard was full of Rubbish. Dangerous if there was a fire as yard was very small n cluttered. Paintwork was dirty. Could do with a good clean. Empty bottle of lager under bed in front bedroom. Cannister behind sofa in lounge which had been used for drugs. Walls could do with a paint floors uneven. Doors wouldn't shut.

Considering we visited in December we weren’t told how to work the heating. There wasn’t any toilet roll. The main bed fitted sheet had a big crusty mark that showed it hasn’t been washed. I slept in my clothes on top of the bed cover. The fridge had random bottles filled with what I assume was the water we were told we were free to use. Not many useful items such as cutlery or cups and not told to bring your own. A lot of the kitchen cupboards were very dirty.

There was food and flies in the microwave from the person before. Washing still in the machine and the shower was broken which was very inconvenient. The back door was covered in cigarette butts and empty balloons / canisters. The fridge also wasn’t switched on and was a bad stench as soon as the door was opened.

It was cheap and a place to lay your head but won’t be back.

Everything, the house was dirty. Looked like the house had been abandoned for ages.The least that would have been done was at least clean the apartment even if it was very old. We had to sleep in the cold for 2 nights, one tiny mobile heater that was barely working for the whole house even with the kids, my daugher couldn't breath, we barely slept. Bedsheets hairy and dirty looking. I found at least 2 bugs with several spiders. Worst place I have ever slept in my entire life. The bathroom door didn't have a lock. Bedsheets hanging on the door, too many to list. The pictures were nothing like the apartment . Totally unfair to have deceived people this way. I will give it a 0/10 even minus if there was that option. Totally unhappy.

I didn't like anything there. This place was not suitable to stay at all. I was totally disappointed when I arrived there with my family. It was on a rainy day and first visit to Livepool and it made my day worst. It was tough to find an alternative place to stay as well. I hope Booking.com should pay me some compensation.

Disgusting, smelly, filthy, very poor state of repair. Could not get key when we arrived. Waited outside on the street for one hour while we tried to make contact with owner and housekeeping. No-one answered phone. Had to ask a neighbour to try. Eventually got a message with new key code.

Arrived and the door was wide open, with no key in the key safe. There were someone else’s clothes up the stairs, it certainly hadn’t been cleaned, let alone checked.

No toilet roll on arrival (stock in kitchen drawer but none in bathroom). Heating was off on arrival and no instructions on how to use and the house was freezing!! Tried ringing cleaner’s number and the number on app and sent text but no answer/reply!! No carbon monoxide or fire alarm so didn’t want to risk using boiler. No hand towel in bathroom!! No mugs in cupboards! Had to drink tea out of a glass Pyrex jug!! Clock in living room didn’t work!! No spare pillows (only 1 flat pillow per person supplied). Ceiling light in double room not working. Cleanliness was very poor, window sills dirty, washing machine and laundry basket full, fag butts outside back door, asthma pump under single bunk bed.

The place was filthy. It hadn't been cleaned for ages and the beds certainly hadn't been changed. Dirty cups laying about, dirty slept in beds, stains and pubic hairs in beds. Only one pillow for double bed, pubic hairs in bathroom . Dust and dirt absolutely everywhere. More public hairs around sink and sponge in kitchen. Carpets absolutely filthy. Once I complained and took photos as evidence, I did get a refund but no response from them or apology. Also the informed booking.com that I never checked in and I got an email from booking.com asking to confirm this. Some sort of response to acknowledge the mess my family had to stay in would have been nice. We left this place feeling filthy and having had no sleep as we couldn't sleep in the beds and all had to huddle on the sofas as they were the only clean things in the house.

There was nothing to like about the place l, although cheap to stay here, knowing how dirty it is, you couldn't pay me enough money to stay there again.

Not much not to like for the price. Make sure you contact the housekeeper prior to visit to get your keys as it's literally just a house. It does look a bit abused, but at the price you're paying, it isn't a Hilton Hotel

We loved the fact we had the hole house and facilities to our selves. Was comfortable for our night stay before going to Knowsley Safari.

The host did not get back in contact with me after calling, texting, messaging via the website. I received no instructions on how to acces the property so could not stay there. It has now been a week and they have still not contacted me or refunded my money. Booking.com customer service say they cannot refund my money without the accommodation agreeing but they are also ignoring them.
