The district is a bit rough - rubbish on the streets etc and the garden was tatty, but nothing serious.

House was clean and well equipped - including a lot of the small stuff like tea and salt and spatulas and soap and loo roll.... Also it was beautifully quiet - I woke up to just the sound of birds one morning.

Pleasant house in a quiet area. Bedroom was comfortable, use of the shared bathroom, kitchen, dining area and sitting room was fine. Interesting meeting up with other people also staying there in the other two bedrooms.

Perfect accommodation for my needs. I had no problem parking on the street and access to the property was straightforward. A safe and secure house with a key pad lock on each of the 3 bedrooms. Nice and warm, clean and comfortable with excellent kitchen facilities, more appliances, pots and pans than you'd need. I was able to store my things in the fridge and enjoy cooking a meal or making a snack, Oven, microwave, washing machine, fab kettle - everything that I needed. Very comfortable bed, I slept well with other 'guests' being quiet and considerate. I've already re-booked to stay again.

the only issue I had was getting the code I needed to get into my room as I wasn’t sent it with the other sign in information and the mobile number kept going to voicemail the owner replied to my message and I got it through that

it has a real homely feel the other guests staying where lovely and approachable and everything I may have needed to use was right there would definitely stay again

Room allocated was already occupied. Luckily another room was available. Room doors are not lockable with a key as descibed but have a coded lock attached. NO CODE GIVEN FOR THIS LOCK so unable to secure the room!

Room was cold as the heaters comes on automatically and were not on the nights I was there. But I there were prenta of duvets to use. It wasn't á big deal.

didn’t receive the info for the key box before hand and the host didn’t answer my calls when I arrived. was lucky that another guest was present to at least let me into the place, otherwise I’d had to wait 45 minutes before I received a reply on my email for the keys. Felt the springs of the mattress in the bed also, not really comfortable.

good place, use of kitchen to cook own food was nice.

It's a shame there was no TV in the lounge or my room

It was a good spot to take a few days off from walking the coastal path. The kitchen has everything you need and the garden is nice to sit and have a morning coffee.

I stayed here several weeks and in that time there were issues with the heating. Rooms were double booked. People didn't have the correct key code. The bed in room 3 is SO uncomfortable. The blinds at the front don't keep the light out.

2 of the rooms are really nice. Lovely garden. The downstairs is cozy and comfortable. Staff were flexible about me changing my dates. Best value for money in Devon.

The keys are an absolute nightmare, I even got locked insife my room and was only saved by passing my keys under the door to a neighbour. When I complained to management about this the lady suggested I didn't know how to use door locks and that she'd put a video on the net to illustrate how to work the snib!! Then she said she'd organised for a locksmith to come the next day (there were problems with other rooms as well) but there was no sign and I had to leave the room unlocked for the duration whilst I was in. The location is a £4.70 return journey by bus (no. 44 or 44A) to anywhere decent. There was no information on this in the house despite asking the managment for it. The kitchen could do with a microwave.

The kitchen was good and the dining room fine. The shower was hot. The house was warm, well maintained, clean and tidy. Overall good value for money.

The immediate outside of the property is poorly lit. Could do with a security light. Hot water from the taps is boiling hot. Landing light is not working.

Price is good, budget property-hence very average standard. Got what I expected. Although I’ve a large van I always got parking outside. Check in details were accurate. Sent by video via WhatsApp.

the only thing that I would say is, the mattress in bedroom 2 needs an upgrade! unfortunately it wasn’t very comfortable.

the location was good, the facilities were good and the parking was good. overall it was a nice place to stay especially for the cost and I would stay here again.

I have been coming here regularly. The room is spacious and clean. There are 2 toilets which is convenient. Bus stops and shops are just 3 minutes walk. I can’t fault this place.

The only inconvenience was the bed which was not very comfortable - apart from that I enjoyed the room. I was a good size room and very clean.

I enjoyed staying in the hotel - I only stayed there for the night as I was out during the day.
