There is a step going from the lounge to the hallway . It is only small but it is as soon as you open the door so not immediately visible. Some hazard tape would be good so people are aware of it and don't fall down it as my husband did.

This was our second stay at 3 Tomlinson Apartments and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It's so elegantly yet comfortably done out that it really lifts your spirits. It's convenient for shops and the lovely river walk, so it's handy for dogs. The place has everything you could possibly need. The hosts are very helpful if you have a query. It's the nicest place we've ever stayed at and we'll definitely be back. As you can see from our photos, our dog Molly was excited to be there again, had a lovely time at the nearby Cragside estate and took to her bed when we were packing up to leave.

Superb - lovely comfortable apartment. With everything you need. I would definitely book here again. The location is brilliant with easy access to walk along the river or pop round the corner to Co-Op shop. It's fantastic! (A great base for visiting Northumberland:)

Nothing really but a razor point in the bathroom would be helpful.

Decor and overall comfort including, kitchen appliances, furnishings and warmth. Its positioning in town centre was brilliant which made for easy access to town shops and pubs.

Elegant yet cosy flat in a friendly and picturesque little town. We loved our time here and will definitely be back. Really convenient for walking our dog with the river walk so close. The décor of the flat itself is amazing! Every detail is both beautiful and ergonomic. We especially liked the big shower and the sparkly worktops. We appreciated having cleaning supplies as well and were impressed with how clean the place is. Thank you ever so much for a lovely stay, from Martin, Zoe and Molly (the Collie)!

The position is good, just a minute's walk from the shops. The apartment is a modern conversion, very well thought out and equipped. The owners were contactable when we had a small problem, and very helpful. I would strongly recommend it. The shops include a good baker's and a good butcher's as well as a Co-Op store.

The 2nd bedroom is a teeny bit small, but it's not the end of the world. Mattress was a little soft for my liking but I also understand that's a hard thing to please everybody.

Location was perfect and the view was sublime, even when there was a huge downpour with thunder and lightening. Everything in the apt was of high standard.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and clean it had a well equipped kitchen, it also had a lovely outside seating area which was nice to sit and have your morning coffee and a cheeky glass of wine in the evening sun , we had no problems with parking, will definitely be returning
