Not much not to like about the place itself. That part of Southampton is a bit “interesting” at night but felt very secure with the access system in place.

Really friendly and welcoming, had the feeling that every effort had been made to make it as comfortable as possible. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room, made my time there feel very luxurious. Spotlessly clean room and an incredibly comfortable bed. Enjoyed my breakfast, delivered to my door bang on time with fresh warm pastries and lovely fruit - better start to the day than a fry-up! Just a fabulous place to be!

Although breakfast was fresh, it was the same everyday (croissant, marmalade, milk, juice, musli); therefore, it is not enjoyable after the first 2 days. Cleanliness could also improve.

Breakfast was fresh and delivered in bedroom. Property is located within walking distance from city centre. Extremely polite personel. The bedroom was quite large and very lucent. Overall, very positive experience.

It was absolutely beautiful. The team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor was so amazing. Our room was soo comfortable and super clean ! Breakfast was amazing, Mrs Chris loved the pastries. We will only stay here in the future !

We stayed in a deluxe double room and it was amazing, looked exactly like the pictures if not even better! Beautiful decor throughout the whole place and felt very modern and luxurious. Staff were also super friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast and complimentary food and drink items were a lovely touch too! Even decorated the bed with rose petals in the shape of a heart for our anniversary without any request, will definitely be staying here again!

The breakfast was not good for such an expensive hotel. You had to make your own tea, coffee porridge etc and there was nowhere to eat breakfast, so you had to have it in your room. For the price I paid I would have expected a proper breakfast in a restaurant, not a few takeaway croissants and Quaker porridge oats.

The staff were wonderful, so friendly. Location was excellent. Lovely fluffy towels and nice cosmetics. It was very modern and clean too.

From the moment you step through the door, beautifully decorated interior, gorgeous aroma and lovely staff to welcome you. Nothing was too much to ask. Breakfast brought to your room at a time of your choosing…. Stunning!

I felt unsafe in the shower, as the floor was very slippery when wet, and no grab rail to hang on to if I slipped. Also, the heating system was a complete mystery. Why can't engineers use words to control these operations, instead of hieroglyphs? Also the trendy sink had the taps so low to the basin, that I had trouble filling the kettle. I guess that hotels such as these don't want the business of older guests such as me?

Almost everything about the hotel was very nice. Great decor, and the staff were warm and friendly. For able-bodied guests it would be an excellent choice. I have mobility problems and would have liked a few improvements for ease and safety. But, apart from that, great place, and great people.

The bed was advertised as large (king), but it wasn’t so didn’t actually sleep that well. A shame as it was comfy and nice duvet/pillows.

The continental breakfast box they bring to your room in the morning is a nice touch. It’s filled with hot croissants, jams and fruit. The mini bar is complimentary and is also filled with mini bottles of wine, chocolates, soft drinks and milk. There was also a great choice of teas and snacks. Room is very nicely decorated and well equipped. No lift to the superior king rooms, so a few flights of stairs might be tricky for some people. Location is pretty good, shame the AO restaurant has moved as it used to be a few minutes away which is originally why we booked. Staff were very polite and helpful!
