We stayed 1 night in large room with balcony and sea view followed by two nights in one of the Lookout Suites (there was a problem with water supply to the bathroom in the original room so we were rehoused). The original room was nice enough and only cold weather stopped us using the balcony; we did however feel that clothes storage was not great and was compounded by the design of the room not allowing for a suitcase to be anything other than a tripping hazard! The Lookout Suite seemed larger and airier, with a bit more storage and the window and the view from it was amazing; bit of a shame though - particularly bearing in mind no balcony - that there was only one chair by said window when there was space for two……..Both rooms were stylish and without wanting less style we can’t help but think that just a little more attention could have been paid to practicality…..

Friendly helpful staff, clean, good breakfast in lovely restaurant, stylish, beds large and comfortable, communal pantry and record players in rooms excellent touches, parking easy and secure, restaurant not cheap but to be fair the food was delicious and beautifully served and it did feel special. The sea and beach views from restaurant and sea view rooms are really superb and interesting.

The bath had a leak. The door to the adjoining room was unlocked and the family next door came in by mistake!

The decor was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable. Beautiful views and appreciated the upgrade.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday when we stayed. The restaurant is featured prominently in booking features and no mention of this. The breakfast food however was wonderful, and an amazng view.

Lovely room, great breakfast, stunning views from the restaurant, record player in the room was a very nice touch (we donated a record!). Seaside location, independent shops, bars and restaurants all brilliant, people were friendly.

This place is new and you can feel they are still getting their operational legs - in another few months, no doubt it will be running smoothly and a true destination spot. Staff was kind but needed a bit more training (especially breakfast staff who seemed to hold 5 jobs). There needs better signage down to Treatment rooms - the signs just stop and no indication of how to get to your massage or treatment. The restaurant was also freezing - I think a construction error with the kitchen where freezing air blew into the restaurant so everyone was in hats and with blankets. No doubt they will be getting this fixed soon! Last item is I wish they had flagged I was in an 'accessible' room - I'm over 6' tall so the sink and everything was so low that it was uncomfortable to be in the bathroom and wash my face, brush my teeth, get ready, and put on makeup. I ultimately just went down to my knees so I didn't need to bend over with my bum back.

The room was one of the most thoughtfully designed rooms I've been in - so beautiful and an amazing attention to detail. Lobby and restaurant design beautiful as well with great food and cocktails with stunning views of the bay. That balcony is going to be unbeatable in warm weather. Staff is really kind and aims to be helpful.

The bath plug was broken, no ironing board or hairdryer provided and £25 for breakfast I felt was excessive considering I had 20 mins before leaving.

Perfect location. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Super quality bedroom linen. Lovely thoughtful touches in the room and of course The Pantry!! Staff were delightful. This is an absolute gem for anyone exploring Margate looking for unpretentious luxury and pampering at great value too. PS the bed is like being wrapped up in a fluffy cloud all night!

The rooms facing the street side can be a little noisy.

The interiors are really beautiful. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The location is perfect. Some rooms overlook the sea - ask for one. They have a lovely coffee shop on the street level, it’s great.
