The toilet seat seemed slightly broken and perhaps needs looking at. There was a slightly unpleasant smell (I think possibly drains related) from the kitchen. It would have been useful to have a clean sponge for the dishes and kitchen surfaces after use, rather than a used scrub (which could have scratched the ceramic hob - we went and got a sponge from the shop instead). Not sure about the set up of having cutlery stored high above your head - but that's coming from a clumsy couple worrying about what might happen ;-) Unfortunately you can hear all the steps from the person living in the floor above even during the night, but I think that was just me as a light sleeper, as my husband sleeps through everything! Hopefully we haven't woken them up on our very early mornings for our walks.. All that said, just minor things and did not detract from the enjoyment of a very nice apartment :-)

The apartment was very classy and decorated to a very high standard. We felt it was actually slightly bigger than the photos seemed to show, which was a bonus! Quite central to the city, and we loved that it was literally just around the corner to the Wales Coast Path, which we used as a base to complete - it was quite cool to see the conch sign every day getting out and about, even on the non walking days! We loved the waterways/canal that we had to follow everyday in our outings, it is a very peaceful surrounding area! The bedroom was quite comfortable and with plenty of wardrobe space (which the photos don't show), and a really nice living room/dining room space. Loved having SKY TV in the apartment! Shame SKY doesn't allow you to temporarily transfer our SKY Sports subscription to watch the football on the big screen :-) Although we didn't take up on this, it is quite a big plus to have a reserved parking space just for you right in the middle of the city centre. We decided we wanted to take the train instead, and the owner very kindly allowed us an early check in so that we could go and watch the Cardiff City match (thank you!)

Great appt, all the things you could possibly need and in a good location for many theatres, for the city centre and for docks...about 12 to 15 min walk covers all of them. Would definitely stay again if coming to Cardiff

A lovely little apartment near to Cardiff with cooking facilities if needed. Perfect for up to 4 people. Set in a quiet cul de sac and that quiet you wouldn't of thought that Cardiff City centre was just around the corner! Thank you so much for letting us stay!

We, a group of 3, stayed here for our 3-night visit to Cardiff. The apartment was a great, quite and clean accomodation to explore the city from here - especially as it is more or less located in the center between Cardiff downtown and the bay area (both in walking distance of ca. 20-25 minutes). The train station is probably a 15 minute walk. The apartment had everything we needed, was cosy and the kitchen was well equipped. Even for a stay of four people it would have had enough space and the convertable sleeping sofa in the living room was comfortable and easy to arrange. For any shopping needs there is a small co-op close by. It was handy having tea, coffee and sugar already provided. Entry into the apartment via key code was easy and felt totally secure. Overall, the neighborhood felt nice! The recommendations and Cardiff material provided by the hosts was a nice touch. We would surely recommend the apartment for your short or longer stay in Cardiff!

Too hot water in shower, a manual to operate would be handy. Rated lower on cleanliness because of black mold in shower, fridge not really clean, dust at some location in apartment.

Good location between city center (<15min walk) and the bay. Easy to park in dedicated location. Good guidance from the host Quiet area (but heard the neighbor above walking)

Good location a bit away from the centre, so nice and quiet. Easy to get into central Cardiff. Area around the property is lovely and great to have parking if needed. Good shop close by. Property has EVERYTHING, and attention to detail is much appreciated. Shower Bluetooth speaker a nice touch! Wi-Fi and satellite/smart TV were reliable and great for inside time. Would always stay here when in Cardiff.

A freezer compartment in the fridge would be good as we bought food for the next day and wanted to chill wine quickly. There is no loo roll holder because space is limited, but I guess that’s a first world problem!! We didn’t really know what to expect with the extra bed space, and had to make up the sofa, but this was all good so reported by our son who slept on it. A small observation… the front door rattles with the wind. Would be good to resolve this

Loved that it’s a complete apartment/ ground floor maisonette with full kitchen facilities. Loved the smart speaker too as well as the playing cards and excellent parking. We made dinner and enjoyed that at the table, knowing the car was safely parked right at the back door. Neighbours were quiet and the area generally felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.

The flat was beautifully decorated and very clean. We did some cooking while we were there and the kitchen was very well equipped. Handy having tea coffee sugar provided. Perfect location in a lovely neighborhood. Easy access with the clever lock system. Parking. Great communication from landlord. Would definitely use this as a base while visiting Cardiff again
