How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I don’t think we had any complaints about the property
Convenient location on site of one of our favourite restaurants. Several good pubs round the corner. Facilities were great. They provided towels and lovely soft house coats. The shower was amazing. It’s accessible, which wasn’t something we needed but nice to see nonetheless. Had everything we needed.

Stayed in the duchess room, large, beds very comfy, very clean , towels, robes, crockery, cutlery, fridge, tv, kettle, biscuits, milk, water in fridge, everything you could ask for. Towel and bed linen were whiter than white and with amazing fresh smell. Location central which comes with noise but nothing heard between around 2330 to 7am. Didn’t bother us just people leaving pub and restaurant. Dog friendly ❤️ didn’t eat at Milan as had the dogs but supposed to be good. Had breakfast at the terrace cafe also dog friendly. Exceptional value for money, very quirky and Stephanie kept in touch if we needed anything! Top hosts , would defo recommend staying here

.....guy next door blowing his nose 😂, but that's not the owners fault.
Lovely tidy room with a lot of great little touches that shows the owner cares. Lots around the location to do, pubs, restaurants, Ad Gefrin distillery, great as well for dog walkers etc.

The property was a little difficult to find as this was our first visit.
Very nice room for an overnight stop on our journey to Scotland. The room was very comfortable and warm providing a relaxing evening and a good night's sleep. Dog friendly at no extra cost

Liked that there was a fridge in the room to keep things cool, although it was a little noisy, but easily turned off if you didn't want to use it. Other than that, the room was perfect!
Prompt check-in; booked a room online and was able to get the keys (remotely) immediately. Comfortable room with Waffle Robes and rain shower. Nice quiet location near the Milan restaurant. Central to the middle of Wooler and a good base for exploring the area or a short overnight stopover. The room had cutlery and crockery so you could have easily eaten in if you wanted, and even had dishwashing liquid to tidy up! Plenty parking on the street if the car park to the rear is full.

This is our fourth stay at Noble Lands, we love it. The Duke Suite is spacious, beautiful in decor, clean with comfy large bed (two beds zipped together - as room can be a twin) a sofa, coffee table, dressing table, dining table and two chairs. There are robes, ironing, board iron, a fan, in the wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is crockery, knives, forks, spoons etc. and a small fridge, plus a kettle, well stocked tea, coffee, biscuits etc. In the bathroom, hand soap, towels and shower gel. Every thing you require is there. The host is available by mobile and is great. The Milan Restaurant next door is one of the best places I have ever eaten for your we evening meal. Also The Terrace Cafe? Down the road is excellent for having breakfast. Cannot wait for our next visit.

The only downside was the fridge was very noisy and kept us up during the night.
The rooms were small but cozy. They were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Host were lovely and attentive. Great location right in the middle of Wooler. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The property was very well presented, clean tidy and very warm on arrival. It was freezing outside so it was lovely to walk into a lovely warm room. The room had everything we needed. This was our 2nd stop at Noble Lands and both rooms on both occasions have been fabulous. I would highly recommend.
