Staff all very friendly and helpful. Shepards hut ... simply wonderful, warm, cosy, and perfect. Fab facilities are well equipped. All areas clean ( bathrooms, kitchen, loos) . Great location for coastal walks, beaches, and lots of attractions.

There were too many giant cushions on the floor. There could have been move space if these were removed.

Just a reminder this is a camping ground so you need to walk to the toilets (which are good). You also have other camping fellows very close, some were very noisy during our stay so bring your ear plugs and eye shades if you are a light sleeper. And there are creatures like spiders and flying insects as this is in the middle of nature after all, so bring your insect repellent if you bother. The beach is a little muddy but interesting for bird (and people) watching.

Quaint little shepherd's hut, very well decorated and it has everything you need for spending a long weekend. The bed is very confortable, there's power and a tap outside and logs and kiddling to get your camping fire going. Just need to bring your sundries really. And there's a small supermarket right opposite the road and a bus stop 15 minutes walking distance. And a coffee shop with food down on the beach (5 minutes away). And a cool pub 10-15 minutes walking distance (Silver Sands).

Tents too close to each other. Had an awful night with a group staying just behind me, chatting and laughing very loud until 4am despite asking them to keep quiet. There should be silence hours policy.

The shepherds hut which we stayed in (buttercup)was lovely, just enough room for 2 people. Campsite was great just by the beach which we walked to in a couple of minutes. Owners were lovely, bringing us breakfast basket each morning which was a nice touch. Showe facilities were clean.

The joint facilities were very dirty from floor to ceiling. There were cobwebs everywhere!! The grounds needed a bit of tlc.

The hut was amazing clean and cozy. The breakfast basket was a lovely gesture.

The description on booking.com stated 1 bathroom so I had assumed it would be within the cabin not in a nearby shower/toilet block. Although it wasn't too much of an issue it was a surprise when we arrived.

Ideal location, close to the beach. Lovely cosy cabin with a great view.

only one thing, the room designated for the shepherds huts , where you can use a fridge, toaster and microwave needs a large sign on the outside saying who has booked it, I had two people and a dog in there, when I went to make toast, they were busy making scrabble egg in the microwave for their 3 dogs, ? and said how great it was to have these facilities when camping .

The breakfast was a welcome surprise, was not in the booking information , Carol and Nigel made us feel so welcome, and are so friendly , We have been before as campers but being in one of the shepherds huts was special, the view and surrounding area was amazing, counted 31 hares in the field one morning ,x

Lovely cosy and quiet hut, excellent location, and very well equipped. Having not stayed in a shepherds hut before, we weren't quite sure what facilities it contained, but very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing really. just feel area around it could do with a tidy. more showers.

it was a cute property. A great experience. Everything & more of what you need. Loved the fire outside & the view. Watched wildlife while we chilled outside.

There was nothing l could fault the site on.

The breakfast was a bonus. I didn't realise it was included. There was a good choice of cereals yoghurt bread and spreads.

very little. another light in the hut might have been useful.

the hut was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. the view onto the open fields made it feel as though I was in the middle of nowhere- just what I was looking for. The staff were very friendly and helpful and great with my crackers dog!

Staff are really nice and the free wood for the fire pit was absolutely awesome. Gas stove and cooking utensils provided where top quality.

Not their issue but the amount/size of spiders in the toilet/showers but to be expected

Beautiful place to stay, loved it! Everything was well thought through, the outside showers were amazing. The fire was perfect. All the little details were the icing on the cake and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast baskets were a lovely touch albeit not vegan friendly but that’s my fault as we didn’t notify the owners
