Nothing to dislike

Friendly and informative gentleman to greet us on check-in and check-out. Full of excellent recommendations to eat locally. We hadn't booked a breakfast, which was entirely our fault but good suggestions offered as an alternative within a short drive. Room spotless, beautifully furnished and decorated, excellent value; bathroom sparkling, shower excellent; we will certainly stay here again if in the area in the future.

I was gone early and returned late. The room was perfect, warm, sparkling clean and loads of hot water. My room looked out on the pool and the yard. I could walk around and sit outside in the peaceful back yard. I was walking distance from the river walk and shops but it was quiet and peaceful. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment but the dining room looked out on the back and looked very inviting.

I went for a workshop. It was a wonderful homey atmosphere, Joseph met me on arrival and was so welcoming and that feeling of calm and welcome was everywhere in their place.

There was nothing to dislike.

We did not have breakfast as we woke up late and was ready just in time to check out. The room was very well decorated and homely.The furniture decor was retro and pleasing to the eyes. The bed was spacious and comfortable.

Very close to Lego land so ideal location for us. Shopping complex 2 mins drive away with restaurants, coffee shop and supermarket etc. Host was very friendly and room was perfect- clean, and cosy. Really enjoyed our stay.

Just note that it's an old building so the stairs where I was are narrow. But the host did carry my suitcase up for me. The room was very small. Bathroom tiny but had the necessities. Fine for my purpose but wouldn't have liked it for longer.

Clean, comfortable single bed. I only stayed one night to catch early flight from Heathrow so I didn't try the breakfast. Host friendly.

Only criticism is that the house was a little tired and dated. But this did not affect the quality of the stay.

The immediate environs of the hotel were a little unkempt.

Be sure to bring eye masks if you're a late riser - the morning light is bright! I also prefer softer beds, but I recognise that is just a personal preference.

Place was great for what we needed it for - accommodation within walking distance to Hind's Head. Owners were lovely and very helpful with lots of recommendations and information as and when we needed it.

We could not have managed our large cases up the steps. Therefore we didn’t move them from the car.

It was close to Windsor and airport so very good for our needs. Staff were without exception helpful and friendly.

Lack of upkeep in communal areas and outside made it feel in need of care and attention. We had to prop open the window in the heat with the waste basket.
