Pleasant staff.Good simple unpretentious food. .Good service.Good location though not quite central. Excellent facilties. Large swimming pool. This hotel is classified as 2 star but in most respects it is much better snd indeed in some ways better than four star hotels I have visited .

The vending machines didn't always take money. Or have all choices. Not good as only place to get a drink when the bar is closed. Poor shower !

The staff especially carmel were so friendly and helpful. I have never seen a cleaner hotel. Shout out to housekeeping. I shall hopefully return.

Double bed is two single beds pushed together. These didn't have a "latch" so if I laid in the middle they'd just push apart

No tea coffee sandwich service during the day bar doesn’t accommodate tea or coffee either they have a vending machine that can be used Have to pop out if you want to just relax and have a coffee

Location was fantastic with excellent transport links and was approximately a 20 minute walk from Elizabeth Port. Loved that the hotel featured a restaurant had a swimming pool and a bar...The breakfast was also of a decent standard where gluten free bread was provided for me on the first two mornings of our stay. Our room was very large for two people and was light and airy. Despite teetering on the vintage side when it came to furniture, the room was generally clean and had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful staff - especially the breakfast team!!!

Beds need to be updated. Not very comfortable. Can’t complain on any other front due to the cheap price of the hotel.

It was exceptional value for money. Very dated and basic, but for the money I paid, what else can you expect. Pleasant staff, house keeping were great, the bar was reasonable priced, didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment. Great location into town, and parking was free. Very very good value for money.

Walls were thin and could hear people talking in next room.

Staff at the reception was absolutely outstanding. Very kind and helpful. Always expressed interest on where I was going and how I enjoyed it. Definitely friendliest hotel reception I have ever encountered.

This is a large hotel, so the other guests can be an acquired taste. When booking I hadn’t appreciated that breakfast and evening meal are purchased separately.

Décor quite dated, although there was a heater in the room it still felt quite cold however not too much of a problem as we were out most of the time. Didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food on offer which looked quite basic from the menu. Disappointed that there was no where in the hotel to get a tea or coffee freshly made during the day except from your room with long life milk. By the outdoor swimming pool there was a snack vending machine which only had a couple of items in it and was not regularly stocked and vending machine for Tea & Coffee which was out of order during our stay.

Good location, staff were friendly & knowledgeable about the area,nothing was too much trouble. Bed was very comfortable and Hotel was clean. The swimming pool & sun spaces around it looked lovely unfortunately it was too cold for us to use.
