We should in retrospect have stayed longer.

The location, the rooms and facilities, the staff and cleanliness were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Only had one evening meal which was disappointing as the meat was tough and not a great selection of vegetables. Room lighting was poor. Only 2x13 amp power points so advise taking a 2/3 way adaptor. Toilet did not flush very well, requiring several attempts. In the room description on Booking.com it said "free toiletries" but you only get one bar of soap and you have to pay for shampoo/conditioner at reception. Glad the weather was not too hot as their is no air conditioning Hotel location is around a 20 min walk from the bus station and around 30 min walk from the beach/promenade.

Full English breakfast was very good. Nice touch to keep the same table each day as our waitress Laura was delightful. Hotel and room is kept very clean. Comfortable beds. Having a swimming pool in a 2 star hotel is a bonus.

A little dated in the rooms but that didn't affect our stay.

The staff were friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was great and our room was clean and comfortable. Approximately 10-15 minute walk from the bus station uphill and a great little Thai restaurant next door. Plenty of nice restaurants in the town centre. The quiz night at the hotel was a giggle. The swimming pool looked great but too chilly in May for us to use it. We would recommend this hotel which has all the facilities you would need.

Location and staff were excellent. Room was alright a little bit tired looking but clean.The main areas, reception and bar and dining were fine.

The noise in the room was noticeable. I don't think that there was much soundproofing between rooms and when anyone walked around on the floor above, it sounded like a herd of elephants! The door leading to the courtyard was dirty and remained so for our stay.

Although very dated in decor and facilities, the hotel offered all the amenities that we had expected. The size of the room was very good. We found that things on Jersey were generally quite expensive, especially eating out but this hotel offered good value for money. Staff were excellent especially the lovely Portugese lady who looked after us for breakfast.

Old people are the main clientele (age 70+). In some cases very old (85+). Mobility scooters were available. Five of them. I’m not saying I didn’t like this, hell - I’m 65. But some might not like it that much. Almost zero young families.

False advertising of facilities i.e. shuttle bus. The room smelt like 'old'. The TV was tiny and no bath.

Later than average check-in time which was imperative on this occasion.

The whole hotel is run extremely well, very friendly staff, special mention for Silvester (not sure of the spelling) and Tila in the restaurant. Good variety of food, all well cooked . Very good bar and games room, bedroom spacious with tea/coffee facilities. Very nice looking swimming pool, unfortunately the weather although good, was not warm enough for us to have a swim. Reception very helpful with any enquiries. Some entertainment provided most nights. Only classed as two star hotel but should be at least three star. We will return.

We always stay at this great hotel, it’s our 3rd time. We return each year because of the lovely staff, the cleanliness and the perfect location. The rooms are large, breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice and to top it off a great little pool. Car parking is a bonus but you are right on a bus route if you don’t want to drive and minutes walk to town with plenty of restaurants on your doorstep.

Full english breakfast was not very tasty, bacon and sausage not very good quality. Our room was on floor 2 and the floor above us was very squeaky. Every time someone in the room above walked about, we could hear the noise of the squeaky floors.

We loved the comfort and the cleanliness of our room. The lounge areas were spacious where we relaxed awaiting for our room to be ready. There was a lovely garden where we could sit in the sun. We had to leave early so the hotel packed us a breakfast. A step back into the luxury of yesteryear hotels with white tablecloth dining and old world charm.

Insulation in rooms not great - a lot of noise from room above ie talking and walking around. Rooms quite dated
