The lounge area could have done with some background music or tv, it was like a library!

The room was large & clean, no view though. Breakfast was excellent, staff lovely. Location brilliant for what we needed.

Leisure facilities very tired. Chairs very dirty in swimming pool - needed a real scrub! Left green mould on my son’s towel. Changing rooms not fit for purpose… we went back to shower in our room.

Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of tea and coffee and biscuits. Bunk bed had been secured with safety rail. Plenty of towels. Good shower. My son loved the jacuzzi! Breakfast was adequate, cooked breakfast was good.

Mattress too soft. Wasn’t allowed to extend checkout by one hour without paying an extra . Music at bar sounded tinny. At least get a decent speaker system.

Lovely building. Clean. Well located. Well appointed rooms. Good breakfast. Good bar.

I found the bed to be a little uncomfortable.

The hotel is a little dated. However, it’s very clean and the staff were really friendly.

Slightly dated and in my opinion in need of a full refurb and modernization. Slip proof bath matt that was put away in the wardrobe looked very grubby and we didn’t want to use it. No toiletries in our room.

Coach loads of people were at the hotel and the hotel seemed understaffed to deal with the numbers when we arrived and later when we visited the bar. We were also disappointed not to be able to have dinner in the hotel. We did not understand that we needed to have booked half board to do so. Walking the streets of Bournemouth looking for a restaurant was not appealing.

We loved the historic, English feel of the hotel. It’s in a handy location, close to the town centre and easy to get around. A good size room and comfortable bed.

Rather noisy at night. On the day of my arrival I was so looking forward to using the pool facilities but sadly was not allowed as they said there was no lifeguard.

    Incredibly clean.

Not really but the only think we noticed that there were few sellotaped on the wall near the ceiling of our bed. Maybe to cover some damages but it doesn't bother us.

The location of the the hotel was perfect to the restaurants and shops then 10mins walk to the beach. We had a breakfast on our last day and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. I spend my birthday with my family and we had a great time in their pool. Thanks Booking.com for the £16 and I considered it as my bday gift.😅

Breakfast was good but hard to chew. The room facilities could be improved as the room temperature was cold at night, no bath and no fridge in the room a bit disappointing.

Love the location, all staff were nice and friendly. Room was lovely and clean, swimming pool was great as always.

The decor was dated but this did not detract from the stay, in fact it added to the atmosphere. However, the floors were very creaky which meant that when the first guests got up in the morning, everyone else on that floor would be awake as well.

The hotel is in a good location close to the gardens and easily walkable to the BIC. Staff were friendly and breakfast was very good.
