We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe booked an afternoon tea for our 40th and we feel it wasn't value for money as limited items that we felt were not freshly done, as they were cold so had been in a fridge. We were put in a corner of a bar area with no outlook and this was probably due to the area they normally used being set up for another event, as we noticed that someone had earlier been put in this area for an afternoon tea which had a much better outlook out on to the grounds which would have been nice to have also been able to use this space for our tea as well. plus no real service form staff we had to go find someone in the bar to refresh our drinks rather than someone checking on us.

United KingdomWe arrived at 2:50pm (check in is 3pm) told we could wait in the bar - absolutely fine but upon arriving at our room at 3:10 it was still being cleaned. We had to lurk in the hallway until 3:25pm and when we did eventually get in there was razor hair in the shower on the shelf and the walls, I think it was a rush clean to let us in. Beds are very comfortable and the room apart from the bathroom did seem clean enough. There are no USB points or plugs next to one side of the bed which was strange but not a major inconvenience. We also only had one bath towel provided, so we had to find someone to request a second towel. On the day of check out (check out time is 11am) we came back from the pool at 10:40am to change and leave and the cleaner was waiting at our door. Uncomfortable, especially as we felt really, we were owed the 25 mins we lost on arrival anyway.. but we rushed to change and pack and we vacated at 11am. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant but was sad to hear the hotel was completely out of Prosecco so couldn’t have that. A large hotel should probably not run out of the most basic of drinks but had a lovely cocktail to make up for it although it was double the price of the prosecco and wasn’t the first choice. Checking out at the front desk the two staff continued to chat amongst themselves whilst taking the card from our hand, didn’t acknowledge us - would’ve let them know this feedback if they had asked how our stay was.
The food quality is absolutely excellent at Norton Park, if it was open as a restaurant we would visit again and again, cannot fault the menu, the food is incredible and staff in the restaurant really friendly and attentive. The pool area is a little dated but mostly clean and comfortable. The hot beds are fantastic! Our favourite place to relax when using the pool area. Last time we stayed, we had robes in our wardrobe on arrival but this time we didn’t have anything, we asked at the spa and were told only guests paying for treatments can have a robe. Strange as wasn’t the case last time we stayed bit of a disappointment.

The breakfast was superb. Beyond our expectations, lots of variety and opportunities to upgrade. Should you wish but we didn’t feel the need as there was such a great selection on offer. Very nice quality enjoyed every bite probably over indulged a little too much. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff incredibly kind and helpful with regard to our severe nut allergy.
