I ordered a bronze package £15 for a birthday we were celebrating and there was a £1 banner on the bed with a postcard… complete waste of money would not recommend this to anyone!

No toilet brush in the bath room. Where we come from we do not expect other people to ensure the removal of remaining excreta after use of the toilet. We were rather shocked by this. Less important factors were the very noisy chime on arrival of the lift. Poor TV remote making selection of the full range of available channels very difficult. Inadequate instructions on the operation of the lift (the necessity to use the room key to operate and the order in which to do this). The lack of a folder in the room explaining all the hotel facilities and reliance on a clunky app. It is also a great shame that the hotel does not have its own parking facilities despite an adjacent multi-storey car park.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was well soundproofed.

Dinner at the restaurant very disappointing. We had fish and chips. Chips were a very poor quality oven chips. Taste was very bad. Pizza, equivalent to cheap oven Pizza. Literally full of tomato pure and 4 small pieces of cheese. Not what to expect in a beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly. Setting is lovely. Food, not so much. Would definitely not have dinner there.

Staff and accommodations are amazing. Location fantastic. My daughter had an interview in the university, and this was less than 10mins walk.

I wish our room had a wardrobe, I didn't like that our bags were all over the room and we were living out of our bags as it were.

The breakfast was good but a bit pricey, especially if you did not factor it as part of the accommodation package.

Staff in restaurants and bar were all really helpful and went out of their way to organise food and drinks for us following a 24 hour stint in the A&E department of the hospital next door

We were upgraded to a studio on top floor which was amazing. Only downside was the facilities for doing my hair and make up. There was a table with no mirror and a huge mirror with a tiny shelf, so nowhere to put items down. Had to place them on the floor and either sit there or use the chair and bend up and down to pick up things. E.g, the hairdryer, straighteners, mascara, etc. Other than that the room was perfect.

Customer service was fantastic. Nothing was a bother to staff. Made to feel very welcome and at home.

There was no parking in the hotel site but there is an indoor car park nearby where you can leave your car.
