Room was nice but bath was blocked after having shower room 526 just so you know am an actual customer Also the price was ok…..BUT a bit dear as there was nothing saying about construction or road works around the premises when I booked….. luckily we got the train but taxi cost a lot more or I would have walked… if I was travelling by car ( the wife wanted to I said no as I wanted a stressful travel) Last thing to say the bar was amazing the guys there where good but I asked for a double rum 50ml but I got 2x50ml in one glass ( =100m in a glass) ( I am a personal license holder the last time I knew this was illegal or has it changed ? Yes I paid the charge I was shocked and loved it but be careful unless the licence law is different when in hotel I am ex hospitality (restaurant /retail) Over all loved the stay just found they had a Xbox 360 wife said ohh god no I was ready to play lol Over all great staff and place love the wooden key cards but stay safe in licensing laws unless I am missing something ? lol Take care all the best

There is a massive construction site next to the hotel. So be prepared that your night's sleep is going to end at 8am

The hotel is close to the city centre and has a car park that doesn't cost a fortune. There are a couple of charge points for EV as well.

The property is very well located and the facilities have everything for your stay. The staff is very friendly, there was an issue with the booked room and they resolved it very quickly.

All that money but no bath! Quite a lot of people, particularly slightly older guests have back trouble and standing in a slippery shower can be quite achallenge hwereas a bath is relaxing and good for our backs. I suggest having baths in the rooms as the norm, and asking people if they would prefer a room with only a shower. This would then not discriminate against the older customers.

There was a lot of construction happening at the time, so it was difficult to find the place, and exiting was a bit difficult. There were a lot of inclines around the hotel.

The breakfast fantastic and the price for it was well worth it. There was a great variety of food and we really enjoyed every breakfast that we had.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. The food didn't feel that fresh and the only veggie option on the cooked breakfast was veggie haggis. Some vegetarian sausages would have been better for breakfast.

The lady on reception was extremely polite and friendly and very helpful. The room we had was spacious and quiet. No drunken idiots running past our door screaming (this happens in expensive hotels frequently). The location was excellent for our gig venue.

There was construction going on outside, the noise was horrible though it was not the hotel’s fault. Most of the time I stayed only one lift was working, sometimes had to wait for it for quite a long. The basin in bathroom is pretty odd.

Breakfast was pretty good, with many healthy options. The room was spacious enough. I could use the minibar as a fridge. Generally, the hotel looks very clean.

The only downside was that the room we had didn’t have a walk-in shower, it was over a bath which is difficult for me as I have back problems

The toilet was separate to the sink and wasn’t very nice. The lift wasn’t working for the parking so you had to walk around the side. The building work next door (obviously nothing the hotel can do about that)
