Not being able to stay longer !!

John and Jill are a lovely couple and very helpful with anything we needed and make up feel welcome. The cottage is large and spacious and always warm and cozy. The bed was so comfortable and it was so peaceful to watch all the birds in the garden and the chickens in the garden. The wildlife cameras are brilliant and we got to see the barn owl sleeping. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and it was lovely. Sitting in front of a roaring fire with your feet ip after a day out on the bikes.

If I had to nit pick I’d say the mattress was abit too firm for our liking.

John & Jill were terrific hosts, very welcoming. Cottage well equipped, very cosy & quirky. We loved the log fire and wildlife cameras. Jedburgh only 13 minutes drive and Kielder about 40 minutes.

as an old property it was a little chilly

Wonderful remote location. Handy for trips to Kielder Forest and border towns equally. The wildlife camera link to the TV was really fun. Having an EV charger was a game changer
