Hospitality of Matt and Ange was nothing short of exceptional. Quality of food was unbelievable and cooked to absolute perfection. Our first visit but definitely not the last.

I don’t normally do reviews. However this needed one. Hosts are incredible. Hotel and rooms are clean, tidy and breakfast is very good. I travel a lot and it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for a long time. .

No bar/restaurant when we stayed. Given the great quality breakfast, I would have been happy to give them some more of my money for dinner and evening drinks!

Matt was a fantastic host, registered our car for parking and checked us in efficiently. Allowed us to check in early too which was a great bonus. Great local knowledge too. We had the sea view suite and it was really great! Tastefully decorated and furnished, as was the rest of the hotel. The view from that room is superb! Had breakfast in the morning and it was equally impressive. The lady who served us (I believe her name is Angie) was really warm, welcoming and attentive. The food (a full English) was of a high standard, used really good quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. If you're visiting Great Yarmouth, I definitely recommend a room at Hotel Ocean!

The stairs! Being unfit and on the top floor was a killer, for me, but the far reaching views made up for it.

The choices on offer from the traditional to the unusual (for breakfast) where all there. And the taste was delicious.

Hotel very nice, great staff, good parking. Breakfast was great as well. High quality Bacon buttie option was spot on. Also loads of other fancy hotel choices involving eggs and hollandaise.

Parking around the back of the hotel, didn't feel secure. However, we were given a permit to park in the car park across the road which felt much safer.

Really lovely atmosphere. Decor is amazing throughout. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, so fresh and tasty. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Sound travels a bit in the hotel (but to be expected), at the price range for an exec level room may be lacking a few features like a fridge or coffee machine (but I would still be surprised to find better in the area)....

Just spent two nights at the hotel and could not fault it at all . Room was spotless & bed comfortable, two good nights sleep . Breakfast was really nice and big thanks to Angie who was so helpful. Close to all the amenities.All the staff were really friendly & helpful . Really nice hotel and would definitely recommend and will stay there again

Nothing not to like

From the moment we arrived was made to feel welcome checking in and car parking went smoothly then given keys to our room which was lovely with sea views very clean comfortable well stocked with tea coffee biscuits and water central heating worked well and room became cosy and warm the breakfast was delicious made to order with lots of choice good tv channels even watched a film on Netflix location brilliant lots to do very close
