Breakfast was struggling to reach average and the hotel suffers as most do with inexperienced waiting staff.

The location was great as was our room. Reception staff were very good. Sincere service from that team and that is all too rare.

There was no glass to brush your teeth with . There was a mini bar but no price list . There was no book on facilities in the hotel, i.e., phone numbers for assistance. On the advertising for the hotel you could have your breakfast in the room but no literature anywhere to order it .

Staff were lovely Room decor and comfort excellent. Food is gorgeous, and all requests were catered, too .grounds were lovely to walk around. In room tea /coffee excellent

Party went on outside after the venue closed at midnight. The noise of aircraft from nearby airport intruded a bit in the night. Otherwise superb room and food

There is no lift so lots of stairs to climb. Staff were pleased to help bring luggage to my room which was helpful.

Oddfellows on the Park was a beautiful old manor house located in a park but within walking distance to town. It has been painstakingly restored but with modern amenities. The bed was very comfortable, the room was large with gorgeous views of the property. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall, a really nice experience.

Liked everything. Even the housekeeping lady was friendly and very nice to talk to.

What a pleasant surprise. We arrived later than. expected and the reception was very efficient, charming and friendly. The room was modern, clean and somewhat quirky in a fun way.. Very comfortable and exceeded expectations in every department.

We were in a 2nd floor room, (high was lovely) but there was no lift, heavy suitcases and no porter to help. Property must make that clear to visitors, as we would not have booked the property had we known. My partner has had back and shoulder surgery and can’t lift suitcases up 4 big flights of stairs, and I can’t manage 92Kg of luggage in one go.

Location and house style were very good - and even though within a few metres of the Manchester Airport, there was no noise intrusion

Shame the weather wasn't better. We looked longingly at the beautiful terrace. Hopefully we can sit out there next time.

What a fantastic find this hotel was, tucked away in the middle of the park. It's definitely unique with its quirky decor. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very attentive. Breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice. We can't wait to come back

Limited parking for event attendees (not that I needed to park but colleagues who were not staying at the hotel were challenged).

Lovely friendly welcome, gorgeous room, peace and quiet, good climate control in the room for an excellent night's sleep. Attended an event within the hotel and the facilities and catering were also excellent, with lovely staff on the team.

Parking! Not enough room at the venue so we had to park a short distance away in a public carpark which wasn't ideal. The mattresses on the beds had seen better days and sagged in the middle, not what I expect after paying the price for a stay at this venue. The bedding was clean as were towels etc. Breakfast was of a good quality but spoiled because of being only lukewarm. I should have challenged this but because it was a family wedding, I didn't want to cause a fuss and embarrassment. There was no fresh fruit on offer which even Premiere Inns provide, so a little disappointing.

The reception staff were lovely, very welcoming and attentive, Bar staff were also great. The hotel was very nicely decorated and furnished; rooms were spacious and clean, including bathrooms. The venue overall was a great location for weddings or family occasions.

No street lights at night from the car park to hotel, I fell over one of the 2 ft high wooden bollards and hurt my arm. I mentioned it the the night porter.

the only thing we could not do was keep the windows open so it was a bit of a wait to settle in in check in, staff sorted the window.

The food was amazing,, the room was great too, we just had the feather bedding changed over to normal bedding.

The one issue was the flights heading into Manchester airport, which due to weather and earlier issues in the month was excessive over the night

Amazing setting in a much larger park, the hotel itself is pretty and the room we stayed in was perfect. We also appreciated the surprise left for us to enjoy in the room
