The seagulls woke us up very early in the morning but the hotel cannot control them!

The location could not be better - right in the centre of town. The room was bright, airy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet style with lots of choice and we loved the fruit and yogurt selection in a big fridge.

The room was lovely and well equipped . Few cobwebs on one of the windows. Dust on the bathroom radiator which had our clean towels on it . All in all a great wee overnight stay .

The hotel was very central. The kinnetles wellness centre was nice and private ,very clean . The only downfall was that the steam room was out of action. The staff in the wellness centre were lovely. Reception staff on arrival - the girl was very pleasant and very welcoming. The restaurant was shut for refurbishment . Great location and parking is close to the hotel . Pubs and restaurant all close by.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious, especially the showers/baths. I particularly enjoyed the spa area. The hotel is right close to many St Andrews restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful.

Fantastic rooms, we were upgraded to a suite at check in. The room was very attractive, very comfortable bed and the bathroom was huge with an excellent shower. Fantastic breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

No instant coffee or milk supplied in room. Just a coffee machine which didn’t work. So no morning coffee, just tea.

We managed to get a night here in January for about £100 - I’ve since noticed that a night can set you back £400-£700 most of the time and I certainly wouldn’t pay that. The hotel is nice, LOVELY bath, but it’s not £400 nice, so I wouldn’t recommend spending that much on a stay here. Bed was a little uncomfortable, it was one of those beds that joins in the middle so it kept separating and one side was a bit higher than the other. But otherwise, the room was really lovely. Staff were friendly too.

The double bed is two single beds joined together, not ideal and one of you always end up in the middle - I would have expected better from this kind of premium hotel. The room was on a main road so quite noisy on a Saturday night.

Beautiful hotel, great service, ideal location in the heart of St Andrews. Spacious room equipped with everything you need, we visited the spa the morning after check out - loved the privacy and exclusive feel. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had! A lovely stay and would return.

The only complaint we had with the hotel was that the room was far too hot . We switched the radiator off in the room and opened the window but as we were in the centre of town it would be too noisy to leave the window open .

The fact that you had to cross the road to get to rooms from the main hotel. It would be fine in summer but not much fun when it’s raining.

The perfect location, good sized room (junior suite) the genuinely lovely staff, and the best poached eggs on the planet!

Bathroom was very warm being small and no extractor fan. In the Spa the steam room was out of order. In the ladies changing room toilet was out of order and heater wasn't working so quite cold.

Beds were a bit lumpy. While I would recommend the hotel, the experience felt slightly more like 4* than 5*.

Great location, huge room and bathroom, staff prepared early breakfast for us on the day we checked out, great value for money.
