There was limited parking, luckily we were able to walk where we wanted to go during our stay, and were not inconvenienced by this. The bed was a standard double, as a taller person my feet were off the end when stretched out, but in fairness the was not enough space to accommodate and larger bed

Good breakfast and very pleasant staff. A lovely quiet location with interesting places close by.

Heating was an issue. I checked in at 8pm. The room was very cold and heating wasn’t turned on at all. Not sure for how long the room has been vacant. It took at least 2 hours for the room to be a bit warm. Then during midnight the heating went off again and can’t be turned on at all. If the host knows the room is expecting a guest during winter and the heating should be turned on before guest arrives. The room has been mostly cold during my stay. Breakfast time was 8-9am. Really a short time gap for a hotel.

Fairly cosy and clean. Located at a nice road. The property was good.

My single room was small but comfortable, with all that you needed for a short stay. The room had a nice ensuite shower, washbasin, tea/coffee making kit and a coat rack. The breakfast was great, with a choice of cereals and a cooked breakfast if you wanted. The B&B is about 10mins walk from Bournville station, which is convenient if you are travelling without a car.

The bathroom of room 6 could probably do with a little shower re-fit as silicone etc looking a bit tired etc.

The hosts Patsy and Dave were very nice. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was yummy, nice and hot and made to order. The little bar area is nice to enjoy a drink and the gardens would be lovely to sit in during the summer.

Breakfast is only served from 8-9am (even on Sunday), and check-out is at 10am. The heating only comes on around 7.45am, and as it was 2C outside, the room was very cold overnight, making it difficult to sleep. There was also no heating in the shower room.

The Old Farm is in an excellent location just opposite Cadbury World in the pretty village of Bournville. There was free parking onsite and the breakfast was a nice full English. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and there was a tv and tea/coffee/biscuits.

Location was fantastic for Cadbury's World (you could see it out of our window!) Selly Oak train station was also a stones throw away. Room was absolutely spotless and beds were super comfortable. Triple room was perfect size. Hosts were lovely and helpful and free car parking was right outside the door. Huge outdoor retail park about 5 mins drive away which was great to pass a few hours.

Rooms are slightly tired but I knew this and bathroom could do with new silicone as it has gone black in places. Bed was firm and pillows hard but I accept that is down to personal choice and you can’t please everyone

I have stayed before which is why I chose it as we were going to Cadbury World. Staff and owners were fab and accommodating. Last time I stayed there were no evening meals so that was an added bonus this time. Breakfast was great.
