we stayed in the glamping pods, which had we been 20 younger would have been brill - but if we were to return again I would book a room in the house.

The on-site restaurant serves amazing food and reasonably priced, staff were friendly and welcoming

Breakfast, which is included in the cost, started too late at weekends. 8:30 Saturday and 9:00 on Sunday. We ended up eating off site we were in the are for an NEC conference and needed to be on the road long before then.

Great location and lots to do, a lot more than we anticipated. We enjoyed the walk around the lake and the kids loved the paddle boats. Really convenient for the NEC.

Quite steep steps into the basement room which were a challenge with suitcases. WiFi did not reach the room, and no mobile data access due to location.

Quirky room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Location perfect for Birmingham airport.

I would have preferred a shower in the pod. However there is that option if you go a bit larger.

it was a lovely little pod. I chose the one with a toilet and sink in. I didn’t fancy going out in the night. There was a shower room a few yards away that you shared with one other pod. I didn’t use it as I was only there one night. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also included at the Quicken Tree up to £10. It was superb.

Due to the location, we had a lot of ants in our room! It was also hard to get a taxi from this location, we managed to use Ubers (which were cheaper anyway).

The surroundings were beautiful, and the huts were very cool!

Nothing to complain about.

Camping pod with ensure toilet perfect. Shower room ok. Breakfasts were great and very nice to get a voucher for them. Easy access to the NEC.

Absolutely loved every moment of our stay, from the accommodation to the restaurant. Surroundings were beautiful, especially as the snow fell covering the landscape. Kids were able to run and play in the field of snow and the accommodation was close to NEC (driving) for the event we were attending. Restaurant food was lovely and the decor was amazing. Great atmosphere. Everywhere was nice and clean, staff were helpful. Would recommend for a cosy couples night away and for familys.

The pod was cold overnight, stayed mid May. The small plastic fan heater only gave out cool air. There is a kettle in the pod, so you could take a hot water bottle.

Beautiful location, I had a lovely walk around the grounds and forest. Only 15 minutes from NEC which was very convenient for my conference. the on-site restaurant serves top notch food. Breakfast was included.

the mattress wasn’t comfortable as it was hard and could feel the springs. also we found the pillows too hard. although loved the bed itself with its little lights on the canopy.

we stayed in a beautiful house in scenic grounds for one night as only 5 miles to NEC. our room was beautiful with a four poster bed with a large bathroom and a jacuzzi bath. the restaurant and surrounding area was very quirky.

Wi-fi in secret room wasn't so good

I stay here regulalrly when i travel with my job - it has a great restaurant with great staff. Rooms are all very well appointed and different

Wi-Fi did not work and tv did not hold signal until after 12.30am which would be a down side

well kept and stunning location we stayed in pod David and loved it really soft bed with two tv Wi-Fi and breakfast was amazing we had a problem in the Niki pod with the rain coming in on bed but they moved us within 5 mins perfect service it was very bad weather but still enjoyed the experience and would stay again

Reg is a little bit wonky and the mattress wasn't very comfy, but this didn't take away our enjoyment from our stay.

We have stayed here lots of times and always enjoy our stay. The cabins are all very different. We stayed in the cabin called Reg on a cold, windy night in March. It was very warm and cosy inside the cabin. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The restaurant / bar staff are very friendly and very nice too. Breakfast was included and it was delicious.

Only downside, the door in the Iris room didn’t close properly at the top which meant we heard a lot of sound at night from the nearby traffic.

The bedroom in Iris was cosy, warm & very clean. Same with the room we booked in Iris, brilliant.
