Re dinner: Restaurant is not cheap but sadly the waitress who served us was not experienced enough. We had some issues / delays to be seated inside (as the table was ready and no one asked us in) Wine was served after our entrees Waitress did not know the menu (in particular I’ve asked about the almond soup just to understand if it’s sweet/savoury and the consistency etc just to know what to expect and was told she was not aware about it) Food was great though - 10 stars to the chef

Amazing and super comfy bed and pillows. Had a great sleep We were allocated a room suitable for 3 so that was very large which is great Great location and nice views Breakfast was very good and food for dinner was fantastic

There was nothing during this stay we didnt enjoy i would strongly recommend this place to stay… only a short 15 - 20mins in the car to Fort William… I think it was great value for money!

Excellent location, beautiful scenery and the facilities were a nice size for what we like not too busy

Room slightly small. Perfectly adequate but a tiny bit of a squeeze with the armchair by the bed. Shower room spacious.

Fabulous location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was magnificent. We had breakfast here and an evening meal and it was excellent.

The lounge / bar / restaurant was all one area so as a result they was nowhere in the hotel that pets were allowed other than the bedroom. It would have been nice to be able to sit with a drink and admire the scenery with our dog. The shower in the room could have done with a bit of updating as the head wasn't very powerful.

Rooms were great. Large and comfortable with plenty of storage for a few days. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Grounds were lovely and views stunning. Location was great for surrounding area. Food was excellent, both at breakfast and at dinner. Really good value for the money paid.

Nothing at all. It was superb

It was perfect. Beautifully designed, beyond gorgeous outdoor space and an exquisite meal and breakfast. Loved meeting the puddle ducks and goats and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Great also for our spaniel who enjoyed a lovely walk in the forest opposite. We will be back and would recommend to anyone. Dinner is a must.

The location is absolutely stunning. Our room was beautiful, quality furnishings, comfy bed and a large bathroom. Brilliant shower & quality fluffy towels. Breakfast was brilliant and we had a lovely evening meal in their lovely restaurant overlooking Ben Nevis.

It's a pity that the lounge was closed and dark just after 8pm, it would have been nice to seat in there after dinner. The dinner was a full 5 courses menu for 55£pp, there was no a la carte option so we opted to have dinner elsewhere.

The location offers stunning views on the mountains and woods, especially from the restaurant area. The room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was good but it could have included more vegetarian options.

The reception staff need to be more friendly.

The food was exceptional and we would revisit for this reason. The young waitress was lovely and professional. Also the chef was polite and friendly. However, the other staff were distant and did not engage with us. In the morning were left having to ask the chef to check us out, because the reception staff were nowhere to be found. If you want excellent food, with a beautiful view, then this is definitely a place to visit.

We stayed here on the first leg of the Great Glen Way - room was spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent, and owner kindly gave us a lift back to Gairlochy to continue on our walk.
