Loft on the Strand is in an excellent location for exploring Rye and enjoying the walks in its surrounding countryside. It is only a few minutes walk to the famous Mermaid Street in Rye and all the great restaurants and bars it has to offer. It is also only about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the nature reserve and a wonderful walk around there via Camber Castle and down to Winchelsea Beach. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, with comfy furnishings and high spec equipment. We had a very comfortable stay there and the private parking was incredibly helpful as well and good that it was off the road. All in all we had a wonderful stay at Loft on the Strand and are looking forward to going back in the future.

Lovely property with all facilities needed for a weekend away. Location was great to explore Rye by foot and easy walking distance to all major sights. The owners provided lots of information in advance as requested and a great arrival guide with lots of local recommendations. They were also able to accommodate our request for an early check in and late check out which was incredibly helpful.

It was fine for us but I wouldn’t recommend for someone who has mobility issues as there are around 2-3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The bedroom did get quite warm in the night but the owner had already fan in the apartment that could be used and this worked for us.

A beautifully converted loft space, which has been done very tastefully. Extremely convenient location, about 30 second walk to the bottle of Rye town. The beds were comfortable and everything we could think of had been provided. Would highly recommend and we will be back next time we visit Rye.

Pillows were incredibly hard and itchy, as was the duvet & cover. It was noisy with the windows open on a warm evening/night, being on the busy main road. The fans didn't really help much

An awful lot of stairs so a bit of a pain to get suitcases up and down.Not possible for a man over about 5 foot 5 to stand and go to the loo due to the sloping ceiling over the toilet .

A great place to stay that is a very short and easy walk into the town. The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Ability to park in their reserved spaces was very helpful!

Couldn't fault the accommodation, really nice couple of days spent in a fantastic location.

Lovely, clean & well decorated apartment. We are both vegan so appreciated the carton of oat milk in the fridge.
