That there was no where to leave my bag and not able to check in before 3. Shower door was awkward to get into the shower.

The nespresso coffee machine. The decor was very nice and bed was clean and comfortable. The location was good only a 10 minute walk to where I needed to get to.

The shower drainage was blocked. Obviously an old issue. Perhaps cannot be resolved for room at top of house, but shower cubicle could be replaced which would make it nicer.

it was a bit tired and grubby. the TV was a pain to set up. The courtyard bit was underwhelming and grubby. No soap in the bathroom and no tea towel for the mini kitchen. It is marketed as a hotel but it’s not - it’s an Airbnb.

location is great for the pier and beach. Beds were comfy but to sleep 4 people would have been push.

The only small problem was the hot tap didn’t seem to turn off properly felt like I was turning it over ten times to get it to stop eventually but not a big deal.

The bathroom in general is quite compact, especially the shower. The shower head also didn’t stay up so made hair washing interesting!

The location of One Broad Street is fantastic, right by the beach and pier and close to all of the amenities in the area with multiple shops, bars and supermarkets nearby. It was clean and perfect for what we needed. The room also comes with an iron and hairdryer which was very handy. Overall a great stay 👍🏻

Teeny tiny complaint: we are quite green ourselves but the amount of water coming out of the shower makes the shower take thrice as long, which kind of nullifies the water saving effect? 😉

Loved the design, the homeliness and the location so close to the pier and beach! Our kids were happy about the ability to watch netflix and youtube on the telly. 😊 Never saw anyone there, it all worked out keyless and via correspondence.

It did say in the description (so my fault) that there was no lift but the 7 flights of narrow stairs was a killer! Also, there was no chair in the room so we just had to sit in the beds. Shower needed unblocking as it pooled up quite quickly. Kitchenette was a great addition though. Overall a good spot and would recommend.

the shower was blocked to the point it nearly overflowed (it was sorted quickly but is unacceptable to have this as it caused us to run late due to not being able to use the shower for a while) Only one hand towel was provided. The coffee machine leaked There was a sink and kitchenette but no tea-towel to dry up with once you had washed the plates.

the small remote didn’t work properly for the tv and had a piece missing, the voltage was too low from the plugs so my phone wouldn’t charge, there was a light bulb missing… it’s the little things you notice!

compact but perfect for a night away. I love the design and the coffee machine was a big bonus! even though we were downstairs by the street it wasn’t that noisy really, probably because it was a Sunday night.

We stayed in March this year and last year and the price of the room was excellent value for money for the size of it. We looked to book again next year and the price had significantly increased. It is no longer value for money and you can stay in a much bigger room in a hotel located closer to town for a cheaper or comparable price so we will no longer be booking this facility and have already booked different accommodation for next year.

Location is good for the beach and town area. There are kitchen facilities with basic amenities. Room was clean and shower was ok. Check in was easy.

Our room (3) was fairly small. Dimmer switch on lights didn't work very well so lights had to either be very bright or off and there were no lamps.

Tidy, clean and comfortable room. Building was quiet and felt solid (which is rare in these kind of small Kemptown hotels!) - no squeaking floorboards or noise carrying from other rooms, and not too much noise coming from the street despite being a busy area (plus the earplugs provided blocked out what did make it through). Fridge and coffee machine great bonuses. Perfect city centre location.

Really lovely find! The accommodation was perfectly situated. Right on the sea front and within walking distance to everything in Brighton. The accommodation had everything you could possibly need all contained in a tiny space I was so surprised. Hairdryer, Iron and kitchen utensils just to name a few. The bed was SO comfortable! Towels provided. We had a great stay. Thank you
