The house is very well located for the festival we were attending and a lovely pub is only a short distance away.

One bedroom got smoky when we lit the open fire. There was only parking for one car, but there was a free car park 2 minute walk away.

An unpretentious and comfortable home, ideal for a family with children. Everything we needed was there; lots of toys and a wonderful bunk bed for the little ones. The nearby pub, The Horseshoe, was very welcoming and had a tasty menu. A special effort was made for us; celebratory decorations were all around the house. We had a wonderful time.

No enclosed garden just a front area which was pleasant but not somewhere you can just let dogs out - my own fault as did not check this but simply meant I had to walk dogs few times each day but all good

It had all you need there great for kids too as a playroom. Adored village where house is for walks and great pub and the town crickhowell - lots of pubs and shops.

Mind the low doorways upstairs - if you are over 6 foot tall remember to duck! The pendant in the bathroom is in a silly place and the bulb falls out when one inevitably bumps against it. Needs replacing will a flush ceiling mounted light. Bathroom latch also needs fixing. A larger pan for cooking pasta would be handy!

Deceptively spacious house, well-appointed kitchen, works well for a family stay. Nicely decorated throughout and large dining table. Good clear information from owners.

One of the members of the group was a bit annoyed with the front door lock. There is a little trick to it, and I managed to unlock it without much trouble, but less patient people like my friend might have some issues.

Very well equipped kitchen, the best one I've stayed at. We had a steamer, multiple pots and pans, and my favorite, proper glasses for any kind of drink. The house was very warm, the heating was blasting when we got there, which was very helpful during quite a cold weekend.

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed plus lots of extra touches that made our stay so perfect. Me and the children were so happy here for the week. Lots to explore in surroundings, Crickhowell is a short walk with castle ruins, park, shops and pubs. Abergavenny is a lovely town with free castle and great museum, markets and shops. We walked to waterfalls and along canal. Would have done more hikes if it hadn't snowed but that meant we could make use of the log fire. Bliss!

We had a great stay at Onney House, the house was cosy, comfortable and well equipped, lots of cooking/dining equipment, toys/ games for the kids, we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the overall feel of the place, the kids loved their bedroom/playroom.The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Also really liked the location, in a quiet village, walking distance from a couple of pubs/ restaurants and playground, short drive away from the Brecon Beacons and Abergavenny.
