This property is amazing. Peaceful location. As good as the photos if not better. Gutted only staying for one night.

Showers didn’t seem to be draining very well but our host replied promptly that she would be looking into it before the next guests arrived. We made do and overall it didn’t impact our stay much.

The house was absolutely stunning! So welcoming with tons of little cute touches and thoughtful offerings on arrival that made it feel instantly like home. Would have loved to enjoy the balcony but the weather did not cooperate for that unfortunately.

A really small thing - a chest of drawers in the bedroom would be good as we were there for 5 nights, so I didn't have to live out a suitcase.

The house was really comfortable, and just the right temperature. The view was stunning. Beds and bedrooms comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the sitting room had lots of seating. It was easy to find, and a great location for everything in the North half of Skye, and only 10 minutes drive from a good sized supermarket in Portree. We could walk 20 minutes to the Skaebost hotel for dinner which was excellent.

That we couldn't stay there longer !!! Oh, that and the fact that we had to endure Storm Kathleen for two days. Good grief....We've neve experienced weather like that, ever. Fortunately we were nested up nice and cosy at Oor Nuek, which [almost!] turned that raging elemental maelstrom into a pleasant experience :)

What was not to like? A stunning fully equipped property with the most beautiful views across Skye. The host(s) were superb...clear communication immediately from point of confirmation of booking, and the property itself is fully equipped to a very high standard. The lovely bottle of Shiraz that was left there to welcome us was a pleasant surprise...a very nice touch from our gracious hosts. Staying at Oor Nuek was most definitely the highlight of our visit to Skye. And Oor Nuek is situated only 6 miles or so from Portree, so stocking up on supplies was a doddle. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Amazing home perfectly played out and lived the open plan lay out, Balcony is the best part of the home for me but all in all an amazing home, We have already booked it back up for the winter break.

Nothing we didn't like. As a suggestion, perhaps having a coffee pod machine, rather than drip filter coffee machine, would be nice and easier when on holiday - but that is really me being fussy!

Amazing views, high specification facilities (bathroom, kitchen, etc), great large living/dining/kitchen. Really impressive space, we hosted another family for dinner and board games and it was perfect. Loved staying here.

Our group of 5 found it very modern, clean and comfortable, located just a few minutes outside of Portree. It was well equipped for doing our own cooking, and came at a time in our trip where a change from hotel stays was very welcome.

Fantastic house, even better than on the photos. The whole top floor is a big living room/kitchen, the large and many windows in the roof produce a feeling as if you are outside (minus the rain :-) ). Also from the bedrooms you have a beatiful view. Great scenery around the house and top location, which allowes you to reach many of the sights on Skye in reasonable time. The kitchen is very well equipped with induction oven, dish washer and washing machine. We loved our stay there.
