Downstairs shower is only hand held - a shower hook so you can stand under the shower would be preferred. Grocery stores are a 30min drive away.

Location was stunning and very peaceful with beautiful views of the sunset. All mod cons in cottage including for laundry. Very well decorated and really cosy. Welcome basket was a lovely touch along with freshly baked muffins.

A wonderfully secluded location, with gorgeous views in every direction. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The host Margaret was always attentive and helpful and had even made us pancakes to have for breakfast, which was unexpected but entirely welcome and delicious!

Margaret’s place is in a lovely location - quite remote, however, so be aware that food shops and restaurants are 20-30 minutes away. The scenery is stunning. Margaret made check-in and check-out very easy. The rooms were well appointed, and there was a wonderful great room for reading, relaxing, and enjoying the surroundings. The kitchen is well stocked and has extras like butter and jam. The upstairs bath has a shower; the downstairs bath does not.

For those from outside the UK, a note on how to lock the doors would be helpful. Luckily Google came to the rescue. Pull up on the handle, then you can turn the lock.

The house was perfect in every way. It was just like staying at a friends house. Exceptionally clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the remote setting, the scenery is breathtaking. The gift basket was a wonderful surprise. The bread and muffins were delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Communication and welcome from the host was fantastic. Cottage was superb - modern and clean and very spacious. Location was great as base for travelling around Skye. Cottage has been upgraded since photos. Lots of lovely little touches all around the place. Little wild rabbits were bounding around the garden which was lovely to watch.

Absolutely everything. Impeccably clean and cozy, unpretentious, light style. very comfortable facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely view. Convenient location to get everywhere fairly easily but still felt private and off the beaten path. Host was accessible and attentive and responsive. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful cottage in quiet location with amazing views. You can see the bay from almost every room. We loved it. It was spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Two bathrooms were a definite plus.

Dryer was not functioning. The doors need proper locking mechanism as the wind force is very high..Had to keep heavy planter outside to ensure that door remains locked

The location was amazing, with a beautiful view of the water and surrounded by grazing sheep! Margaret provided a lovely welcome basket with baked goods and snacks, and her house guide provided excellent local recommendations. She was very responsive and lovely to communicate with. I wish we could have stayed longer! Would certainly return if we're ever in the area again.
