Mattress not great, needs some kind of toiletries. Lots of daytime noise of building front door banging closed as entrance used by pub smokers.

The car park has more potholes than the road network, which is very difficult to be worse to be fair. I could also smell cigarette smoke coming from in the hallway during the evening, so assume that a fellow resident was smoking down stairs at some point. I slept ok but the mattress itself was quite thin and i could feel the mattress springs and the lumps in my back. The wardrobe was very wobbly too, wondered if it was all going to fall apart but it held together for me anyway. Saying all this for the price paid it was good value for money.

The room (Room 8) was clean, large in size and spacious. The tea tray was well stocked and there were complimentary shampoo and shower gels on offer too. The lady who checked me in was really nice and couldn’t do enough for me. There is a bar with sports tv and an Indian restaurant attached but not directly attached. You can take drinks to your room which is great 👍 I will stay here again when I’m next in the area.

The bed - matrasses served the purpose but ... Parking spaces might be taken if you come during restaurant busy hours.

Hotel is attached to the restarant so super easy to arrange dinner, helpfull staff. Located in a residential area close to the park, went for a walk in the morning. We had quite a large room.

Not a lot of supermarkets open in the area, nearer than the superstore at 15 min walk. Having a fridge would have been great.

Good clean room. Hot water and good heating. Free parking. Quiet area. 15 minute walk from ASDA Supercenter. 25 min drive from Edinburgh airport. Nice staff.

The bed wasn't overly comfortable but we only paid £54 for the night so we can't grumble. We only stayed for one night, if it was for longer I think we would have struggled with the bed.

We traveled with two dogs and our room had plenty of room for my wife and I as well as the dogs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. If we're goin out in that area again, we'd definitly stay again.

The location was great for me, just off the main road to Bo'ness. The rooms were very big, which was pleasant. It was nice to have a sofa and table in the room, as well as the more usual tea and coffee facilities, etc. It was useful to be able to control the room temperature and to be able to open the window. The place was very peaceful and quiet, despite being next to a bar. And finally, the hotel owner gave me some very useful info about travelling back by public transport. (More useful in fact than the info I'd already been given by Traveline).

The owners only took over late last year and have made huge improvements so I shouldn't really complain, as it is a work in progress, however, the soundproofing in the room was very poor, everyone who came in the front door let it bang, and I could hear talking and the fan from the shower room upstairs. If the soundproofing was improved, and a chair, and something to put case on this would be a fabulous little hotel.

The staff couldn't have been nicer, I have never been so welcome anywhere. The food was 5* I'd drive for hours just to eat there again. The hotel is on a nice quiet road. The room was clean, and the furniture was all new. The shower room was spotless and the lovely double shower was lovely and hot.

The mattress was a bit worse for wear, when you moved the springs made such a noise that we thought the bed was going to break. But pillows and duvet were great.

Room was huge and spotlessly clean, had the biggest bathroom and the shower was amazing. The staff were fantastic very friendly and absolutely went out of their way to make you feel welcome, nothing was to much trouble. From the hitel staff to the restaurant staff al of them were amazing.
