newly refurbished to a modern, quality finish with attention to details. Adam & Tip were very welcoming & the breakfast lovely. The hotel is well located in the old town, very close to the seafront, restaurants & bars.

The host's were very helpful and pleasant, Adam helped with the luggage both upto our room and out to our car when we left, I would highly recommend this hotel idealy situated between the town and sea front.

Only issue I found was a window in the room we stopped in (room 4) did not quite close fully and this caused a lot of excess noise at night to come into the room.

The room was well looked after and very clean as well as organised. The couple who run the Palace hill hotel are super friendly and down to earth. They are always willing to to have a chat or ask how your day is going. If possible I highly recommend booking with breakfast has thier breakfasts are always high quality and taste absolutely amazing

I only met Adam, very friendly, polite young man. Upon arrival he took us to our room personally (some just give keys and directions) The room was beautiful, clean and finished to a high standard. Lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent husband had full English which he raved about. I will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Adam and Tip you should be very proud of your establishment.

Extremely clean b&b throughout, very comfortable room & bed, this b&b is in a great location, with really pleasant hosts, they serve a delicious breakfast, we will definitely return! Worth knowing...Cheaper room offers when booking direct through their own website..but worth every penny regardless! :-)

The steps up to the building was the only issue we had.

Welcoming, and efficient when we arrived. Adam went through everything with us, and advised on where to.park etc. The room was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble.

It was great to have an ensuite, however I struggled a little trying to wash my face over the small sink with a shelf just above it without splashing water all over the floor.

We loved the decoration it had a real, boutique, comfortable feel, with quality furniture. It might sound silly, but I always highly rate a hotel if they offer hot chocolate in the room. It's rare to see, but the Palace Hill does 👍. Breakfast was perfectly portioned and tasty with lighter options if you didn't fancy a full English. Adam and Tip were lovely hosts with good knowledge of local activities. We also found out we can get a better deal if we book direct, so we'll definitely do that next time.

Not a lot of parking but the owner gave us a parking permit and we were able to find a space a few streets away
