Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The tent was adorable, lovely little features. Hot water bottles came in very handy. Didn’t expect a kettle or microwave available, handy too. Perfect location for walking, didn’t need to drive all weekend

United KingdomEverything was spot on. I think they may be missing a trick by not having a little shop or somewhere that does a bacon cob in a morning on site 😉but that’s definitely not a criticism only a personal note. We brought our own food and ate in the village and it was brilliant!
We’ve not even left yet and I couldn’t wait to write a review. This is the perfect place to rest and recharge. The location is stunning and close to lovely Knighton. It’s peaceful, it’s clean and the glamping pod is super comfortable! The host is so lovely and the locals think very highly of them too! We could not have wished for anymore from this stay and would recommend coming to everyone.

United KingdomCompletely out of the host control but there was a train that went by maybe twice a day and was very loud but also really not a problem as it was not frequent :)
A lovely bell tent with lots of room in a beautiful location! On the border of Wales and England the location provided plenty of opportunity to explore! The interior was lovely and felt very cosy :) The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were also nice, we would definitely stay again!

United KingdomI'd say the only very small thing we struggled with was there is only 3 toilets but we did go on a bank holiday weekend so particularly busy.
Wow! This property is so beautiful and Roxy (the owner) was so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the bell tent. So worth the money. The site it's self is in a lovely scenic location with lots of nature and walks all around. The site facilities were so clean and Modern with 3 FREE showers! Also a small kitchen area with places to charge your phones. We will definitely be returning and bringing our friends:)

United KingdomThe only thing we didn't like was having to pack up to come home. Would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!
We spent two nights in one of the bell tents. It looked good in the pictures online, but the pictures do not do it justice. The bell tent was superb and the place itself was beautiful. The tranquility was restful and when the sun went down the lovely dark skies meant we could enjoy stargazing. Our little dog loved it too, especially the walk into town along the riverbank. Our hosts were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble.

United KingdomThe only downside was that the main showers were out of order so there was only one available for everyone to us. No other negatives.
Loved the site, the bell tents were comfy and exceeded our expectations. The owners were lovely and welcoming.

United KingdomWhat a fantastic place. Our three nights at Panpwnton passed way too quickly. The site is small but perfectly formed in the most beautiful of locations. Our bell tent was even more wonderful than imagined with an extremely comfy bed and plenty of room for us and our dogs. There was an ample supply of wood available for the fire pit and Roxy offered us any extra that we may have needed. The facilities on the site were clean and well looked after. It was clear that they were in the process of renovating the shower block but an alternative was provided. There was a kettle, microwave, fridge freezer and plenty of powerpoints available for charging of phones. This site was so safe that we amongst others felt happy leaving our phone on charge in the barn whilst we were in our tent. I think this speaks volumes re what an excellent job the host is doing!

United KingdomThe lack of cooking facilities (e.g. a BBQ or a cooking hob). New showers were being installed but we're not complete for our stay so there was only 1 shower available for everyone on the site to use.
Location was peaceful and a short, pleasant walk away from the town. The bed was super comfortable! The staff were incredibly welcoming as well.

United KingdomThe tent got very wet at the front we had to use towels to try to soak up the damp. However, We did experience heavy rain. The shower facility was not the best and was dirty however the new showers being built look lovely. There was a bit of mildew over the tent in places and could do with some TLC. It was not very quiet as a public right of way goes right threw the propriety and when the 2 gates slam it was quite noisy, and a lot of people walk threw. I think maybe this should have been stated in the description more clearly as we wanted a peaceful getaway but we had people looking in the tent from the tracks. Fine if you just want to get your head down and do all the lovely walks, but as a romantic getaway, I don't think it's peacefully enough for me. I think a description about accessibility would be fab too for people who are disabled/mobility issues as we like to camp too!
The staff were lovely and friendly, the new toilets were nice. The kitchenette with microwave and kettle was handy. The bed was lovely and comfortable

United KingdomWe 'splashed out' a bit and booked the bell tent for our getaway... sadly we were very disappointed. Upon arrival we were expecting electric hookup as the advert said that the tent had a "kettle, toaster and microwave". We called Roxy to clarify and she said that these were shared facilities in the 'kitchen area'. I explained that on Booking.com these are listed as in the tent and Roxy insisted that I was wrong. So we left it and I apologised to my other half, not wanted to cause trouble and risk having to find somewhere else. For clarification I have a screenshot where these are listed as in the tent. The tent itself is cute but smaller than it appears in the pictures. The rugs were filthy and the carpet mouldy. We shook the rugs off and made the most of it. Our mattress was hugely uncomfortable with springs jabbing us in the night and we rolled inwards and had to keep shifting. We tried sleeping on the other side but with no luck! The firepit was included but we had no newspaper/firelighters/matches etc so it was difficult to get going and we gave up. The campsite itself has one working shower for everyone staying (prepare to wait) and toilets that a) ran out of loo roll far too quickly, and b) we saw staff members 'cleaning' with a wet rag and water - no spray... The shower is hot but there is visible mould in the corregated roof. There are two kitchen areas: one had a full fridge and hot taps and two sinks, a kettle and a microwave. The other had a good fridge, kettle and microwave. The toaster was half broken but overall not bad spaces. This tent was not good value. I would not stay here again and would recommend to others to just book a normal pitch as most tents are bigger than these.
The shower was hot, the bell tent *looked* cute.
