The location is optimal for a Cardiff stay, and the hotel rooms are quite comfortable and sound proof overall.

Only one towel!! Room a little dated. No parking stung for £40 to park the car under the hotel for 2 days

Room OK but as an upgrade to "suite" room 318 I think, it was on par with a Premier Inn. Not that it was not OK, it was. My only comment was toilet had not been cleaned as thoroughly as it ought to (poo marks!!!)and was disappointing as blue toilet duck in there but we saw on arrival...bit yucky. The air vents very clogged and dusty too and my son kept sneezing

The arrival hosted by Jamie was wonderful and really made an impression on my 9 year old (Luca.) We had travelled some way and had train delays so to be greeted as we were truly made a difference. Son loved his welcome back and Griffin the Dragon not to mention complimentary drink vouchers. Another lovely touch is the "welcome snack" area as marshmallows went down a storm in his hot choc. The other area I loved was the reception area and the lighting design and cool area plus my glass of Madri pre-chilled! Great value for bargain price I paid in advance!

Asked to change initial room as it was by noisy city road and we were moved without fuss to quieter room. Had to ask fo more towels as only one in room. Two bulbs had gone in bathroom.

Great lobby, easy check in. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Good breakfast. Great location.

The bed was so hard I had a difficult night's sleep and we only had 1 pillow. It's a shame I didn't sleep great because otherwise I would have given it 10/10

Really nice and friendly staff hotel room was clean and spacious we had a family room with a large double bed and 2 single beds which was perfect. Nice choice of breakfast food in the restaurant and my girls enjoyed the pool table in the lobby

The lift kept breaking which was annoying especially if you had limited mobility so couldn't use the stairs. Some of the residents were not very considerate of their neighbours when they were talking at 4 in the morning.

The hotel is very central and just over the road from the arena which was excellent. Room was spacious and had everything we needed for our short trip.

Room was looking a little tired. Just need someone to go in and do a snag list. Just plugs on crooked. Silicone needs re sealing. Bath cover was damaged. Just little things.

There was a used tissue and the mouthpiece of a vape left in behind the nightstand which I found when going to plug my phone into charge. Thankfully staff tended to this very quickly and were very apologetic.

The staff were absolutely outstanding. Incredible customer service and care, especially the man on the front desk during check in and check out of our stay. Breakfast was great too and included with our price which meant even more great value for money.

We only had 1 Bath towel for the both of us and the hair dryer was not working.

Thought £30 extra for having our dog overnight was a bit too much for this type of property. £30 is the price I pay when staying at a five star hotel. £15-£20 would have been more reasonable. I know they give dog bed and water bowl but most dog owners travel with these things. Also, maybe they need to quote the price of the dog stay before owners arrive as I’m sure most would feel it’s more than the extra charge they were expecting.

The sink in the room had no plug, the tap faucet was loose, although worked perfectly well. The way the sink bowl protruded into the already compact bathroom was an inconvenience. One of the two lifts broke, thus longer wait at busy times. The street noises ascended to 5th floor with clarity, all through the night. Revellers until 4am, commercial trucks unloading from 5am. Better sound proofing would be great. All said I would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff. Excellent location for CIA, plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Plenty of off site parking and on site ( limited) available. We were given a Free breakfast upgrade, very pleasant surprise and the self service full breakfast was very nice. A good ( quick) supply of hot water ( even on 5th floor). Blackout curtains very effective.

The room wasn’t cleaned and no fresh towels or tea/coffee replenishment had to go to reception to get only to be told we should have requested room to be cleaned & towels replaced upon check in never have I had to request this service think it should be standard
